How had things ended up like this?
Ever since Zhou Sui'an failed to bid on the Pink Heart, Su Wan had been worried.
She never expected people to dig up her Weibo posts and refuse to let the matter go.
Everyone was even furious that she had secretly deleted her post.
Left with no choice, she personally posted another one.
“Sorry for making everyone worry. The previous post was made on impulse, and I’ve already deleted it. I hope everyone will stop discussing it and give me some privacy.”
She followed it with a “I have grievances I can’t voice—please stop forcing me” meme.
She seemed to be saying nothing, but in reality, she was leaving plenty to the imagination.
She was implying that she was the real victim.
Su Wan’s fans exploded.
The comments were filled with accusations against Zhou Sui'an.
“What kind of man is he? He promised to buy our Wanwan a diamond, then went back on his word. He’s such a coward!”
“If he couldn’t afford it, he shouldn’t have promised in the first place! He made our Wanwan embarrass herself!”
“Luckily, Second Young Master Xiang is protecting Wanwan.”
“Let Xiang Lingxiao take his place!”
“Zhou Sui'an, get out of the business world!”
Zhou Suisui read the comments and was so angry that she almost laughed.
She showed Su Wan’s Weibo post to Cui Wu.
“Do you think I should forgive him?”
Su Wan didn’t care about her brother at all.
She wanted him dead and wouldn’t even blink.
She was certainly hateful.
But her brother was the one giving her the biggest headache.
His enemies treated him terribly, practically wishing him dead, yet he indulged them again and again, unable to harden his heart.
She was even beginning to suspect that Su Wan and her brother had some kind of blood feud!
Otherwise, if it were anyone else—
Facing a man who treated her so well, who gave her his whole heart and even spent money on her, any normal woman would have found it hard not to fall for him.
But Su Wan just wouldn’t!
After the recent incidents, Zhou Suisui was becoming more and more certain that Su Wan hated her brother.
She simply didn’t know where that hatred came from.
Cui Wu glanced at the post and immediately began cursing furiously. “Ugh, this woman is shameless! She was the one making outrageous demands, and now she’s turning around and blaming someone else!”
Zhou Suisui sneered and scrolled down the screen.
Su Wan, however, hadn’t been idle.
She kept replying to her fans in the comments.
“Don’t say that about Sui'an.”
“I didn’t say anything. You’re all just making things up.”
“Wanwan, we understand your pain. You’re just too kind, which is why you let a spoiled rich heir like Zhou Sui'an deceive you. Besides having a few filthy rich coins in their pockets, people like him have nothing in their heads. They have no morals, and even if they studied their whole lives, they’d never learn how to respect women.”
“Agreed! Someone like him doesn’t deserve to make you sad. My idol should shine on her own!”
“We’ll always support you!”
“Destroy the forces of darkness!”
Su Wan, pretending to be helpless, replied: “I appreciate everyone’s concern, but I’m just an ordinary person with no background… I can’t fight them…”
“How are you ordinary?”
“Wanwan, you deserve everything!”
“Didn’t the trending news next door say that the Pink Heart was ultimately bought by Young Master Jiang for the astronomical price of 1.1 billion?”
“Maybe Young Master Jiang bought the diamond to give it to our Wanwan!”
“Ah? Really? Really?”
“I’m so excited!”
“This plot twist is so satisfying I could literally fly to heaven!”
“That’s the Crown Prince of the Jiang family we’re talking about—the Jiang family, the richest family with a century of history! Jiang Zongyan is aloof and handsome. Oh my God, I can barely breathe! Our idol is incredible. She even managed to win over such an icy flower!”
“That certain heiress must be furious right now, right?”
Su Wan’s fans soon formed their own little fantasy world.
They not only compared Zhou Sui'an with Xiang Lingxiao, but now even compared them with Jiang Zongyan.
They portrayed all three men as rich heirs willing to spend lavishly just to make Su Wan smile.
Once they immersed themselves in that scenario, Su Wan’s fans became increasingly excited, unable to stop basking in the fantasy.
“I knew it! Why would the Crown Prince personally go to an auction? He could have simply sent an assistant. So this was what he had planned all along!”
“The three great heirs are fighting over our Wanwan! Wanwan is so charming!”
Zhou Suisui felt sick just reading it.
Were these people’s minds twisted backward?
Of course, there were also some fans with perfectly normal thought processes who finally couldn’t take it anymore and argued back:
“Are you all stupid? When has the Crown Prince ever appeared in the same frame as Su Wan?”
“Tsk, tsk. Stock up on some supplements now. When you get old, don’t bother buying any more.”
“Please. Jiang Zongyan has never even glanced at Su Wan. How could he possibly give her an eleven-billion-yuan diamond? What on earth are you shipping?”
The two groups of fans fought bitterly, both sides tagging Su Wan and demanding that she explain herself.
Su Wan, however, pretended to be dead.
Even negative attention was still attention.
The hype surrounding the three great heirs fighting over one woman would be enough to keep her relevant for half a year.
Meanwhile, at the Jiang residence—
Jiang Ruitian was tagged in Su Wan’s Weibo post by accident. She clicked on it and immediately let out a furious laugh.
Su Wan’s shamelessness could practically be measured with a ruler.
Even if her brother were blind, he still wouldn’t be interested in Su Wan, would he?
She had already been putting up with Su Wan for a long time because of Zhou Sui'an.
With Jiang Ruitian’s fiery temper, her hands were itching.
She wanted nothing more than to crawl through the internet and give Su Wan a good smack, so she could learn what happened to people who tried to hitch a ride on her brother’s fame.
Jiang Ruitian immediately posted on her main account and tagged Su Wan:
“Lady, stop leeching off every bit of attention you can find. You might end up getting burned.”
Jiang Ruitian enjoyed running social media accounts. She often posted outfit and makeup recommendations online.
On top of that, she was an arts student who excelled at everything from street dance to modern dance.
Sometimes, when Mrs. Jiang went to remote areas to do charity work, she brought Jiang Ruitian along.
Jiang Ruitian was, at the very least, an influencer. With nearly a million followers, her fan base was much larger than Su Wan’s.
The post instantly shot to the top of the trending charts.
Su Wan and her fans were mocked across the entire internet.
“Slamming my desk! Don’t make me laugh! This is the funniest thing of the year! I’m dying. Are you all going to pay off my credit-card bill after I’m gone?”
“Su Wan and her fans begged to be exposed, and they got exactly what they asked for. How much must Little Princess Jiang despise them to come down personally and tear them apart?”
“Setting everything else aside… who exactly is the Crown Prince planning to give the Pink Heart to?”
The Crown Prince never got close to women and had never been involved in a scandal.
That only made everyone more curious.
Someone tagged Jiang Ruitian:
“Little Princess Jiang, give us a hint. Which woman is your brother giving the Pink Heart to?”
Jiang Ruitian quickly replied:
“IT! IS! DEFINITELY! NOT! HER!”
The fan had chosen their wording cleverly.
Jiang Ruitian knew she had been baited, but she didn’t expose the trick.
Instead, she indirectly confirmed that her brother had made such a high-profile purchase of the eleven-billion-yuan pink diamond for some woman.
It was practically a blatant display of affection!
The entire internet instantly exploded. Everyone began guessing which woman was lucky enough to win the favor of the Crown Prince of the Jiang family.
When Su Wan saw Little Princess Jiang personally attack her, she nearly ground her teeth to pieces.
She cried in anger.
Why couldn’t these rich heirs and heiresses just leave her alone?
Did they really have to drive her to the brink before they would be satisfied?
They already had everything, yet they couldn’t even tolerate an ordinary woman who was simply trying to work hard and survive.
She posted these thoughts in a group chat for her die-hard fans.
The fans in the group were frantic and couldn’t help pressing her:
“Wanwan, just tell everyone—who was it that promised to buy you the gift? Who exactly deceived you?”
Su Wan naturally didn’t dare tell the truth.
Even though it was indeed Zhou Sui’an who had promised to bid on the pink diamond for her, she had been the one to ask him first by text.
She regretted it terribly!
If she had known this would happen, she never would have sent that message.
She should have called him instead.
Now she had left Zhou Sui’an with leverage over her, making it impossible to pin the blame on him.
Meanwhile, Jiang Ruitian felt that this still wasn’t enough. She was so disgusted that she doubted she’d even be able to stomach breakfast the next morning.
So she tagged Jiang Zongyan on Weibo again.
“Brother, someone’s disgusting you.”
