“Don’t be afraid.” The Sect Leader wore a kindly expression as he spoke softly to Nangong Yu. “The Ziyang Sect will never wrong any of its disciples.”
Nangong Yu nodded enthusiastically. “Mm!”
Yeah, right.
The Ziyang Sect probably had plenty of wrongful convictions and unjust cases.
For one thing, she had caused the whole Tai Xuan Peak incident, yet the Heart-Questioning Stone hadn’t exposed her.
“You must have been frightened. This box of tea has calming properties. Take it and drink some.” The Sect Leader handed her a jade box.
Nangong Yu had no reason to refuse. She immediately accepted it. “Thank you, Sect Leader.”
“Hmph.” Elder Ling Heng was displeased. “Our matter isn’t finished—”
“There’s nothing left to discuss.” The Sect Leader cut him off, his expression warm and his voice gentle. “A child as talented, courageous, and clever as Little Yu naturally deserves another master to guide her.”
Being her master himself would be rather difficult. They had fought for quite some time without determining a winner, and continuing would be pointless.
After thinking it over carefully, the Sect Leader realized that he didn’t really have much time to teach a child either. “Little Yu, from this day forward, I’ll be your second master. What do you think?”
Nangong Yu froze.
“Uh…”
She didn’t answer. Instead, she looked toward Elder Ling Heng.
“She doesn’t want to!” Elder Ling Heng answered for her without hesitation.
At that moment, Chen Zhi remembered something. He wanted to send Xu Wanzhong a voice transmission, only to discover that Xu Wanzhong had taken the warrant and left.
With no choice but to grit his teeth, he sent a voice transmission to Elder Ling Heng. “Disciple has something to report.”
He was a disciple of Luowu Peak, whose line of inheritance was connected to Elder Ling Heng’s. Elder Ling Heng remembered him. “Speak.”
Chen Zhi said, “This morning, Elder Luo Qingyuan of Disciple Peak offered to become the Little Grand Martial Aunt’s second master. She even gave her a meeting gift.”
The Little Grand Martial Aunt’s second master. Elder Ling Heng found the title a little convoluted, but he understood that “Little Grand Martial Aunt” referred to Nangong Yu.
“What did she give her?”
Chen Zhi replied, “Her three strongest attacks.”
That was no light meeting gift.
“Understood.” Elder Ling Heng frowned, then nodded. He turned to look at the Sect Leader.
The Sect Leader had already put aside his dignity and flown over to Nangong Yu. He was speaking to her in a remarkably gentle voice.
“Are you used to the classes at Disciple Peak?”
“Is there anything you’re having trouble adjusting to in the sect?”
“I haven’t congratulated you on your enlightenment yet. I’ve heard all about it. You only attended two lessons before successfully drawing qi into your body. You really are a clever child.”
“What would you like? A defensive artifact? An offensive artifact? An array formation? A famous sword? I’ll give you one as a congratulatory gift.”
Nangong Yu wasn’t used to seeing a boss act so obsequiously. She spoke in a small voice. “Sect Leader, if you have something to say, just give your disciple an instruction.”
If you have something to say, then say it!
Don’t scare me.
The Sect Leader chuckled. “Nothing, nothing at all. I just regret not taking you as my disciple that day. Now that you’ve become someone else’s disciple, even if I want to be your second master, I still have to see what others think.”
“Ugh.”
The disciples watching from nearby couldn’t help shivering when they overheard this. They all felt as though the Sect Leader had been possessed.
Elder Ling Heng, meanwhile, said, “Little Yu has made quite a name for herself. There are plenty of people who want to be her master. You’re not the only one. Does that mean anyone who wants the position can have it?”
His words carried a hidden meaning, and the Sect Leader understood it. After pondering for a moment, he said, “I didn’t take Little Yu as my disciple that day because the master-disciple fate between us had not yet arrived. Since that’s the case, Little Yu, come to me whenever you have trouble in the future. In my heart, you will always be my disciple.”
Having too many masters made it easy for disagreements to arise.
Ling Heng was also her true, formally acknowledged master, so he would have to defer to him.
Normally, as Sect Leader, Ling Heng should have been the one to follow his orders.
Forget it.
The Sect Leader looked warmly at Nangong Yu. “Come to the main peak whenever you need anything.”
Without waiting for a response, he moved his arm. Golden spiritual energy wove through the air, quickly condensing into a bead the size of a dragon’s eye.
“This is my sword art. With this object, all my disciples will treat you as one of their own.”
“Keep it with you. If you encounter danger, it will attack on your behalf.”
Nangong Yu was astonished. She bowed respectfully. “Thank you, Sect Leader.”
“You still call me Sect Leader?” The Sect Leader beamed. “My taoist title is Cangjing. You may call me Martial Uncle Cangjing.”
Nangong Yu accepted Sect Leader Cangjing’s sword-art bead and said solemnly, “Thank you, Martial Uncle Cangjing.”
“Cultivate well.” After giving her that reminder, Sect Leader Cangjing took his leave.
His voice entered Elder Ling Heng’s mind. “Go to the Tianyan Sect and have those fortune-tellers take a look.”
Elder Ling Heng’s eyes deepened. “Understood.”
The Tianyan Sect was the most accomplished sect in the Canglan Realm when it came to deduction and divination. It was also one of the Eight Great Sects.
The sect was based in Yunzhou, bordering Taihua Province.
Back then, after the elders of the Ziyang Sect had divined the future of the Canglan Realm, they had also made a trip to the Tianyan Sect. The other side’s most gifted divination genius had paid with all his cultivation and half his lifespan to confirm their prediction.
Less than a hundred years remained until the two-thousand-year deadline. The Ziyang Sect no longer had any cultivators skilled in divination. Could the Tianyan Sect calculate what unforeseen changes might occur?
“Little Yu, come with me.” Elder Ling Heng’s expression softened as he beckoned to his youngest disciple.
Nangong Yu walked over and complained, “Where did you go? So many people were bullying me.”
Elder Ling Heng looked a little uncomfortable and could only placate her. “Who bullied you? Remember their names. Once your master has finished dealing with things, we’ll settle the score together.”
“Forget it. I already got my revenge.” Nangong Yu gave a harrumph. “If I waited for you, the day would be over before you arrived.”
She actually dared to speak like that to a mighty Dao Lord in the Transformation of Deity realm!
Xu Wanzhong had efficiently imprisoned Elder Xuanqing and hurried back, arriving just in time to hear those words. He nearly fell over in shock.
He dared to speak so casually with Elder Ling Heng because he had been spoiled by him since childhood.
Elder Ling Heng had taken four disciples. The eldest, Jiang Yingxue, had a mind of her own, and he couldn’t control her.
The second, Ming Xiao, was a taciturn person, but he obeyed orders. Elder Ling Heng had managed him from head to toe, turning him into something of a blockhead who spent all day cultivating inside his cave residence.
Then came Xu Wanzhong. Elder Ling Heng had changed his approach and wanted to experience the joy of having a disciple dote on him, so he indulged and spoiled Xu Wanzhong in every possible way.
How was he planning to raise this little junior sister?
“Master, I’m back.” Xu Wanzhong flew before Elder Ling Heng and bowed. “The criminal Xuanqing has been imprisoned.”
Two moments ago, he had still been Elder Xuanqing. In the blink of an eye, he had become criminal Xuanqing.
The Discipline Hall really was something else.
Nangong Yu suddenly felt at peace. It wasn’t so bad to acknowledge Elder Ling Heng as her master after all. If she had acknowledged the Sect Leader as her master that day, she might not have received this kind of treatment.
“Senior Brother,” she called.
Xu Wanzhong came to her side and rubbed her head. “Once he’s released after serving his sentence, he’ll fulfill his promise.”
Xuanqing couldn’t escape the words he had uttered: “The disciple trial and Heart-Questioning Illusion are both garbage.”
“Thank you, Senior Brother.” Nangong Yu was perfectly polite with him. After all, whenever her master wasn’t around, her senior brother was the NPC who looked after her.
Elder Ling Heng said, “Little Yu, come with me.”
He flew toward his cave residence first.
Nangong Yu had only just reached the Qi Refining stage and still couldn’t fly by manipulating qi. She also didn’t want to spend money to hire a spirit crane. “You could at least take me with you!”
As soon as she spoke, a strand of spiritual energy wrapped around her and swiftly followed after him.
“When did Martial Uncle Cangjing leave?” Xu Wanzhong didn’t follow them. Instead, he swept his gaze around and called out to Chen Zhi, who had yet to depart.
Chen Zhi replied, “Just a little while ago.”
“What did they say?” Xu Wanzhong had only asked offhandedly, never expecting to hear such astonishing news.
The Sect Leader wanted to become Little Yu’s second master?
Luo Qingyuan of Disciple Peak also wanted to become Little Yu’s second master—and had even given her a welcome gift?
His jaw nearly hit the floor. “Tell me honestly. What exactly is so strange about her?”
So many people were scrambling to take her as a disciple. No matter how he looked at it, something was seriously wrong!
He had let Chen Zhi off last time, but Xu Wanzhong had no intention of letting him go this time.
Yet even though Chen Zhi was sweating profusely, he still insisted, “This disciple doesn’t know.”
He didn’t know.
He knew absolutely nothing.
Nangong Yu seemed suspiciously intent on causing trouble, but according to the Heart-Questioning Stone, she was innocent.
How was he supposed to make sense of that?
Chen Zhi was still only a minor Golden Core cultivator, with far too little experience. He decided to spare himself the trouble. “This disciple is going back to cultivate.”
Xu Wanzhong was speechless and waved him away.
“Go on.”
His master had taken in Little Yu, and as for the promised all-inclusive package, he hadn’t even received a single dragon scale yet.
Elder Luo Qingyuan had given her three of her strongest strikes—a gesture brimming with sincerity.
The Sect Leader had given her a Ten-Thousand-Year Frost Jade Bed long ago.
Yet Hengxu Peak, Little Yu’s proper sect and home, hadn’t given her a thing.
“How embarrassing.” He shook his head and returned to his cave dwelling.
Meanwhile, behind the Hall of Discipline stood Elder Ling Heng’s dojo: a sword hut so simple it could hardly be called a residence, nestled among lush green trees.
Golden thatch had been casually spread across the roof, while brown wooden beams were wrapped in chain after chain.
Naturally shaped stones had been arranged into tables and chairs. There were no doors or windows; the entire place was open to the outside, exposed to the sun, moon, wind, rain, birds, and beasts.
Nangong Yu had seen Elder Xuanqing’s magnificent palace, so she could never have imagined that this would be Elder Ling Heng’s cave dwelling.
“Master, why did you bring me to the toilet?” she asked with a frown.
Elder Ling Heng: “…”
“…”
His face darkened, and for a moment he felt an urge to beat her to death. “This is your master’s cave dwelling.”
“It only has a cave, not a dwelling,” Nangong Yu said with a frown. “Master, are you poor, or are you guarding against me?”
Even Nangong Yu, who had seen all kinds of grand spectacles, had never encountered a Boss this poor.
She didn’t understand.
Elder Ling Heng didn’t argue with her. He waved a hand, and clear tea filled the wooden bowl on the table. “Your master cultivates the Way of Public Justice.”
There was a reason he had become the Hall of Discipline’s master.
The world needed order and proper conduct.
That applied to mortals, and it applied to cultivators as well.
Since he had become the Hall of Discipline’s master, he refused to allow even a single unjust or wrongful case among those under his jurisdiction. That was no easy task.
Some people committed grave offenses because they had been driven into a corner.
Some had powerful backgrounds, and their masters or grandmasters came to him to plead for mercy.
Some were greedy and hypocritical, yet not without a shred of sincerity.
Some were the relatives of his close friends, people he had watched grow up.
…
There were countless cases, each with its own tangled circumstances.
Many times, the verdict rested entirely on a single thought of his.
To place more weight on human nature was to choose life. To place more weight on the law was to choose death.
He had to determine whether he was showing favoritism or letting his emotions influence his judgment.
This humble cave dwelling served as a reminder to him:
“Ling Heng, you are merely an ordinary cultivator. You cultivate the Way of Public Justice.”
Being the master of the Hall of Discipline was not his identity. It was merely his weapon.
Nor had he ever possessed authority in his hands. Only the words “public justice” were the source of his strength.
“The Sect Leader has broken through.” There was no point explaining all this to his little disciple—she wouldn’t understand—so Elder Ling Heng changed the subject.
Nangong Yu sat down beside the stone table and took out two plates of spirit fruits to offer her master. “Oh. That’s great. The Purple Sun Sect has a bright future.”
Elder Ling Heng was somewhat helpless. “What nonsense are you talking about?”
He straightened his expression. “That day, you and I made an agreement. If you could help the Sect Leader break through, I would take you as my disciple.”
“That was a requirement for me, but it was also a requirement for you.”
“I will accept you as my disciple and teach you with all due care. You may also take only me as your master. You are not permitted to become anyone else’s disciple.”
He had heard that Luo Qingyuan also wanted to take her as a disciple.
Luo Qingyuan didn’t even know what made Nangong Yu special.
Elder Ling Heng could imagine that, in the future, there might be others who wanted to accept her as a disciple—and there would likely be quite a few of them.
Once she went out to gain experience, if she encountered cultivators from other sects, there was even a chance they might snatch her away to another sect.
“Do you remember that?” he asked solemnly.
Nangong Yu nodded obediently. “I remember, Master.”
One master was enough.
In Nangong Yu’s eyes, accepting a disciple meant, “I get to eat this human myself.” If Luo Qingyuan, the Sect Leader, and the others wanted to become her masters, that meant, “The three of us get to eat this human together.”
Serving one Boss was enough.
He might not be able to finish her; perhaps he would only eat one arm or one leg in a single meal. But if all three of them joined in, there would definitely not be enough of her to go around. Nothing would be left.
“Good.” Hearing her promise, Elder Ling Heng looked satisfied.
He looked at the little disciple before him. She was still a child, with a child’s recklessness and fearlessness, yet she also possessed a cleverness and quickness that neither children nor adults usually had.
Elder Ling Heng wondered whether, in his younger days, he would have accepted a child like this as his disciple.
No.
He actually didn’t much like such nimble, slippery children. He preferred children who were steady and straightforward, without ulterior motives.
But her performance in the Heart-Questioning Illusion, and the resilience and fearlessness she had shown when she was left behind on the Main Peak—when all the other children had been taken away while she alone remained—
Whether they accepted her or not, she simply didn’t care. Whether they liked her or not, she didn’t take it to heart. Whether they were powerful or mighty, she didn’t care about that either.
She wasn’t even afraid of loneliness.
And so Elder Ling Heng thought that he admired this child to some degree. Otherwise, even if she could help the Sect Leader break through, what did that have to do with him? Why would he take her as his disciple?
“Do you have any difficulties in your cultivation?” Elder Ling Heng asked.
Nangong Yu thought for a moment before replying, “Not for now.”
“For now?” Elder Ling Heng raised an eyebrow.
“I’ve only attended two lessons.” Nangong Yu shook her head. “I haven’t encountered any problems yet.”
Elder Ling Heng was momentarily speechless.
Did she know how arrogant those words sounded?
Of all the disciples who had attended two lessons, how many would dare claim that they hadn’t encountered any difficulties?
“Good.” He nodded. “If you encounter anything you don’t understand, contact me at any time.”
She had already drawn qi into her body and could use the sect’s command token.
“I’ll take a look at your cultivation.” As Elder Ling Heng spoke, a thread of spiritual power seeped from his fingertip and traveled toward her wrist.
As her master, he naturally had to take responsibility for her.
The child possessed an immortal affinity, had drawn qi into her body on her own, and had even entered a state of sudden enlightenment without his guidance.
Even so, he still had to make sure she hadn’t gone astray.
A wisp of foreign spiritual power entered Nangong Yu’s meridians. It moved through them like a fish swimming along a current of spiritual power.
“Your meridians have been cleansed quite well. They’re very resilient.”
“Did Luo Qingyuan teach all of you body tempering?”
“Probably not.”
“You certainly are lucky. During your sudden enlightenment, you somehow completed body tempering by accident.”
After examining his disciple’s meridians, Elder Ling Heng was quite satisfied. The child had built her foundation steadily and carefully. Even now, she was circulating her cultivation technique. She looked like a little troublemaker, yet was unexpectedly diligent.
He was just about to withdraw his spiritual power when his expression suddenly froze.
“Master?” Nangong Yu noticed. “What’s wrong? Is there a problem?”
Elder Ling Heng pondered for a moment, then sent another thread of spiritual power into her body.
This time, it went straight toward her dantian.
As expected, the thread of spiritual power entered her dantian like a mud ox entering the sea, vanishing without a trace.
“Does your dantian feel uncomfortable in any way?” Elder Ling Heng asked his youngest disciple after a moment’s thought.
Nangong Yu was startled. What was going on?
Her dantian and spiritual root were different from those of traditional cultivators. Had he noticed?
It wasn’t as if her dantian contained mountains of corpses and seas of blood. Even if it was a little strange, that shouldn’t count as a problem, right?
“No.” She opened her clear, innocent eyes. “I think it feels perfectly fine.”
“I can’t probe your dantian,” Elder Ling Heng said.
“Should you be able to?” Nangong Yu asked in surprise. She hadn’t expected that answer.
“My cultivation is much higher than yours,” Elder Ling Heng replied. “In theory, I should be able to.”
“Then I don’t know.” Nangong Yu blinked. “I didn’t close the door on you, either!”
Elder Ling Heng was rendered speechless. Thinking of the two strands of spiritual power that had been swallowed, he asked, “What cultivation technique have you been practicing?”
If he had merely been unable to probe her dantian, he wouldn’t have been so puzzled. But the fact that her dantian had swallowed the spiritual power of a Deity Transformation cultivator was anything but ordinary.
If he cultivated it himself, wouldn’t he be able to take on a Tribulation Transcendence cultivator?
“The cultivation technique? I haven’t started practicing yet,” Nangong Yu said. “I borrowed a few books from the Scripture Repository…”
She listed the Tidal Formula, Rejuvenation Art, Spirit Rain Art, and Thick Earth Art.
“I practiced two moves of the Tidal Formula. I haven’t even used the Rejuvenation Art yet.” She answered honestly.
“This Rejuvenation Art…” Elder Ling Heng fell into thought.
There seemed to be some connection. But could a cultivation technique worth only a dozen contribution points really be this powerful? Could a Qi Refinement cultivator swallow the spiritual power of a Deity Transformation cultivator?
If so, if he cultivated it himself, wouldn’t he be able to fight Tribulation Transcendence cultivators?
“Where’s the book?” he asked.
Nangong Yu hesitated. “You want to see it?”
“Am I not allowed to?”
Nangong Yu looked rather reluctant. “I spent nearly a hundred contribution points on it.”
Fifteen contribution points for the copyright fee, twenty for the borrowing fee, and fifty as a deposit.
Elder Ling Heng was somewhat exasperated. With a wave of his hand, her token flew into his palm.
He swiped it casually. “I’m giving it to you.”
Nangong Yu let out a small “Huh?” She took the token back and sent her spiritual power inside to inspect it. Her eyes widened.
“Master, you’re so rich!”
He had transferred a thousand contribution points to her!
“Can you let me see it now?” Elder Ling Heng snorted.
As the head of the Discipline Hall, how could he possibly have no contribution points? Of course, he had plenty.
The little girl had clearly never seen the world before. A thousand contribution points were enough to send her away. Elder Ling Heng was secretly rather pleased, though he kept his expression impassive.
“Here you go.” Nangong Yu pulled the Greater Rejuvenation Art from her storage bag and tossed it to him.
Elder Ling Heng glanced at it and thought nothing of the extra word “Greater.”
Children were lazy with their words. She had probably just left one word out. What difference could there be between the Greater Rejuvenation Art and the ordinary Rejuvenation Art?
That was, until he read the contents…
“Not bad.” He was a little surprised. “You have a good eye for choosing techniques.”
Used properly, she would become the most popular member of any expedition team—she could heal everyone’s injuries!
“This manual is worth far more than fifteen contribution points.” Elder Ling Heng smiled as he thought of something.
Of course, he knew that the Scripture Repository possessed a spirit.
Strictly speaking, it wasn’t that the Scripture Repository had developed a spirit. Rather, the ancestors of the Ziyang Sect had laid down formations that selected the most suitable opportunities for their disciples.
The contribution-point system existed to nurture diligence and a sense of belonging to the sect. After all, people who were simply given things for free would only grow ungrateful.
Then why should the best cultivation techniques wait until much, much later before being given to disciples?
Naturally, they were given to them from the very beginning.
“Take out the others and let me have a look as well,” Elder Ling Heng said.
Nangong Yu put the Greater Rejuvenation Art back into her storage bag. “That’ll cost extra.”
Her pretty-faced master had taken out a thousand contribution points without even blinking. He was obviously filthy rich!
When dealing with a wealthy customer like this, one had to take full advantage of him!
“Hmph. Then I won’t look.” Elder Ling Heng was furious. “You little brat, I’m checking them for you to see whether they suit you and whether they contain any traps! You really don’t know how to appreciate kindness!”
Nangong Yu shot him a glance, then suddenly sat up straight.
“Enough with the excuses. Where’s my dragon?”
He had said so much, yet would he actually give her the dragon he had promised earlier or not?
“Oh!” Elder Ling Heng had almost forgotten about it. He snorted. “Would this Dao Lord ever go back on his word?”
He extended his hand, and a jade tablet appeared in his palm.
A white dragon was coiled between the layers of green jade, its mouth clasping its tail and its eyes closed.
“This is the dragon you were talking about?!” Nangong Yu had suspected that he might not be able to produce a real dragon, but someone else had already tried to fool her with a jade pendant before. The thought immediately roused her anger.
Elder Ling Heng snorted. “You little girl, you don’t know a treasure when you see one!”
He immediately infused the jade tablet with his spiritual power.
Between the layers of green jade, the white dragon’s eyelids first twitched. Then its entire body began to swim, slowly growing larger. Soon, it flew out of the jade tablet, becoming a white dragon as thick as a barrel, with magnificent horns, glittering scales, and a body that soared and twisted through the air.
The dragon seemed to possess a certain intelligence. As it leaped about, it smashed through the golden-grass roof of the Sword Forge and snapped one of the supporting wooden beams with its tail.
Elder Ling Heng had to repair it with his spiritual power before the Sword Forge collapsed.
“Roar—!”
The dragon’s cry was clear and piercing.
The moment Nangong Yu heard it, blood began to flow from both her ears. Her vision darkened, her blood and qi churned violently, and in an instant she lost all five senses.
In a daze, she felt someone place a fragrant pill against her lips.
After a while, her vision gradually returned, and she could hear sounds again.
“Do you still think I was trying to trick you?” Elder Ling Heng sat across from her, his expression arrogant.
Nangong Yu was utterly astonished. She lunged forward and seized his hand.
“Master! What cultivation level is this dragon?!”
Elder Ling Heng lightly waved his hand and sent her drifting back to her original seat. Only then did he ask in return, “I thought you looked down on it?”
Nangong Yu clutched the jade pendant in her hand.
Perhaps because it was a living creature, she seemed able to sense that the jade pendant was not entirely still. It was almost as if it were breathing.
The white dragon had already returned inside the jade pendant and coiled itself up again, its mouth clasping its tail.
But before, its mouth had been facing left. Now, it faced downward.
That proved the scene just now had not been an illusion.
“I like it!” Nangong Yu declared emphatically. “Master, I never imagined you’d be this wealthy. You’ve truly opened my eyes!”
Admiration shone on her face.
“Master, it was my lack of experience that made me underestimate you. You’re magnanimous—surely you won’t hold it against me.”
The meaning was clear enough, but she had put it far too bluntly. Elder Ling Heng cleared his throat before explaining, “It isn’t a living creature.”
He himself was not capable of creating a dragon, either.
And even if he had been, he absolutely would not have given one to a disciple he had only just taken in.
“This dragon is a magic treasure,” he explained. “It was made from the reverse scales of dragon-patterned koi. Every single scale came from a century-old dragon-patterned koi.”
“It contains a drop of true dragon blood.”
“As for the other materials, such as the dragon horns and dragon sinews, they were all taken from a flood dragon.”
“It also contains a wisp of the flood dragon’s unscattered soul.”
“There’s even the inner core of a fifth-rank spirit beast in its belly.”
It could be said that the value of this magic treasure was no less than that of a dragon itself—
Even if she were given a true dragon egg, it would take time to hatch, time to grow, and constant feeding for it to become stronger. There was no guarantee that its temperament would suit hers, either.
But with this magic treasure, even if she encountered a Dao Lord at the Deity Transformation Realm, as long as she didn’t stubbornly insist on fighting to the death and was clever enough, she would definitely be able to escape.
It was an extremely powerful life-saving treasure. “Do you like it? If you don’t, I can get you another one.”
Elder Ling Heng thought she was ignorant and deliberately said the opposite. But Nangong Yu adored the magic treasure. She said earnestly, “Thank you, Master.”
Her master really was a good master.
Nangong Yu no longer had the slightest complaint about Elder Ling Heng or Hengxu Peak.
“Master, if you ever want to seize the position of sect leader, I’ll be the first to support you!”
Elder Ling Heng: “……”
