Sun Jingya’s eyes turned toward Chu Fu.
This was the first time the two of them had formally met.
Ever since the car accident, Chu Fu had remained in a vegetative state, so the two had never actually seen one another.
Now, at their first meeting, neither of them looked anything like their original selves.
One had become a headless knight with a gigantic head.
The other was a Hulk-like giant, a plant-like being who had once been in a vegetative state.
But there was no doubt that both of them were looking at each other with undisguised disgust and hatred, wishing nothing more than to kill the other.
Green flames erupted from Sun Jingya’s eyes, burning Chu Fu’s vine-like arms.
At that moment, a figure appeared behind Sun Jingya’s head.
The phantom was a full twenty meters tall. Cloaked from head to toe, it drove a dagger into the back of her skull.
It was a textbook assassin’s backstab.
Chu Feng had activated his God of Slaughter mode.
His phantom body grew larger, and his attack power surged.
The phantom looked like the Grim Reaper himself, truly harvesting death.
A massive damage number immediately appeared above Sun Jingya’s head.
Her health plummeted by 1%.
One slash dealt three billion damage.
At the same time, Shen Chi and Xie Lin continued attacking the Headless Knight.
Shen Chi’s mech was colossal. Even when it collided head-on with the Headless Knight, it did not lose out in the slightest. The mech remained completely steady, with astonishingly high defensive values.
Meanwhile, Xie Lin stood in midair and transformed into Sword God mode.
All the diamond-grade swords fused together.
Myriad Swords Return to One!
Every diamond-grade sword now possessed the power of an epic-grade sword.
With a single sweeping slash, he actually severed all four of the Headless Knight’s legs.
The Headless Knight was like an enormous BOSS. Its attributes were so powerful that it was almost immune to crowd-control effects such as stuns.
Yet having all four legs cut off in an instant caused it to collapse to the ground, leaving it temporarily paralyzed.
The Headless Knight quickly summoned new bones to replace its legs, but it still remained unable to move for more than ten seconds.
Shen Chi unleashed a barrage of attacks beside it, blasting away a full 5% of its health.
As for the players controlled by Sun Jingya, they had already been crushed to death during the battle.
In the end, even their bones were turned into horse legs.
In the eyes of Chu Fu and the others, these players were nothing more than minions. One ultimate ability was enough to wipe them all out.
The battle between Sun Jingya, Chu Fu, and the others was the true BOSS fight.
Its might shook the heavens.
For a time, the entire Soul of War City was destroyed. Buildings collapsed, and the rubble was subsequently reduced to dust.
Chu Fu’s poison wrapped around Sun Jingya’s head, eroding her soul.
There were no flashy tricks.
It was simply a forceful battle.
Originally, it had taken more than a million people to fight the Werewolf Tuge.
Now, four people were battling the even stronger Undead Apostle Sun Jingya.
What was more, the four of them were suppressing her.
“No! How is this possible? With power as great as mine, how can you possibly—why?!” Sun Jingya roared as her head and body began moving toward one another, attempting to reunite.
“Don’t let her put herself back together.”
Although they did not know what would happen once she reunited with her body, Chu Fu knew that if Sun Jingya wanted to do it, then stopping her was unquestionably the right choice.
Chu Fu used Charm, forcing Sun Jingya’s head to turn away.
Shen Chi drove his mech forward and slammed the Headless Knight violently into the distance.
Soon, the health of Sun Jingya’s head was depleted.
The head returned to its normal size and fell to the ground. Sun Jingya died with her eyes open in disbelief.
As for the remaining Headless Knight, it was even stronger, but seemed to possess little intelligence. After Chu Fu cast Charm, it focused solely on attacking her.
That gave everyone else an opportunity to deal damage.
“What a great chance!”
Chu Fu had already set her sights on the divine envoy’s attribute-point reward.
The situation was under control!
Time to start harvesting rewards!
Chu Fu immediately opened the Forest Spirit Passage in Thorn City.
[Thorn City Lord Announcement]: “All city players, return to the city and enter the passage.”
She then sent a private message to Long Zhantian.
The players participating in the “God-Making Project” were currently scattered across various locations.
However, because China had completed the city-defense battle ahead of schedule, all the teleportation arrays were interconnected.
As long as they teleported to Thorn City, they could come to the battlefield.
Whether they could arrive in time depended on how quickly they could move.
Soon, the players from Thorn City returned first and immediately passed through the Forest Spirit Passage, arriving at the battlefield.
Their number: 500,000.
They also resurrected the players from Soul of War City.
Next came Long Zhantian and his forces.
Countless players joined in.
Their numbers grew larger and larger.
…
Higher-Dimensional Plane.
The Undead Reaper watched everything unfolding in the game and could do nothing but rage helplessly.
The plan had failed once again!
Not only that, more and more people were appearing, and every one of them was taking part.
That meant every single one of them would receive a reward.
Inside the game, Feng Huimin was directing the troops.
“Deal damage for ten seconds!”
“Stop attacking! Withdraw! Next team.”
“Begin attacking! Ten seconds are up. Next team!”
The players excitedly unleashed their skills. After completing one wave of attacks, they immediately withdrew.
As long as they dealt damage to the BOSS, they could receive 100 points to all attributes.
Finally, after being worn down in this manner, the Headless Knight’s health was depleted.
Its enormous body fell from the sky and transformed into countless white bones.
It was completely dead.
This time, the deaths of the Undead Apostles did not strengthen the other undead creatures.
That was because Sun Jingya had absorbed the power of every Undead Apostle and condensed it into this BOSS. She had exhausted all her divine power, but the final result was still an undeniable defeat.
[System Announcement: Under the leadership of player “WhoWantsToBeAVegetable,” humanity has defeated the Undead Apostle and driven it out of the Primordial Gate. All participating players are rewarded with +100 to all attributes. (Stackable)]
[System Announcement: The stolen divine power will be returned to all players. Please continue your efforts!]
A full eighty million people filled the area within ten kilometers, densely packed across the sky and the ground. Every one of them received the all-attribute bonus.
These attribute points had all been converted from divine power. If the available divine power was insufficient, the system would instead plunder the power of the God of the Undead.
At that moment, the Undead Reaper felt as if its body had become utterly hollow.
A massive amount of divine power had been drained away!
Meanwhile, inside the game, countless players were cheering.
“I got a share again!”
“I leached off the rewards again!”
Because the majority of the damage had been dealt by Chu Fu and the other three, beams of light flashed repeatedly around their bodies.
Chu Fu’s level shot directly up to Level 60!
She could now undertake her class-change quest.
Aside from Chu Feng, the others were all stuck at Level 60.
As for the other players who had come to leech rewards, every one of them had received 100 points to all attributes.
[System Announcement: The Undead Apostle Sun Jingya has perished. Because the God of the Undead overdrawn divine power to activate the Second Apostle, violating the rules, the undead army has suffered a backlash. The power of all undead monsters has been reduced by 200%. Players with undead classes are unaffected.]
[System Announcement: The difficulty of Primordial-tier dungeons has been greatly reduced. All players may now clear them freely!]
There was even a helpful hint.
Chu Fu immediately issued orders for players to go and clear the Primordial-tier dungeons.
Although she wanted to maximize their profits, if everyone entered the dungeons one group at a time, they could leech even more rewards from the Reaper.
However, now that the difficulty of the Origin-level instance had dropped, players from other countries certainly wouldn’t miss the chance to increase their attribute points.
In the end, everyone could only rely on their own abilities.
At the same time, a few new items had appeared in Chu Fu’s inventory.
