After reaching Level 30, players could not immediately bring their strength into the real world. They first had to go to the Job Advancement Hall and complete a class advancement.
From an NPC’s perspective, a player’s level represented the strength of their awakening.
Levels 0–10 were Beginner Awakeners.
Levels 10–20 were Intermediate Awakeners.
Levels 20–30 were Advanced Awakeners.
Levels 30–40 were Master Awakeners, and becoming a Master Awakener required passing an assessment to prove one’s strength.
The difficulty of the assessment had nothing to do with talent or class. There was no such thing as a god-tier class being assigned an absurdly difficult task.
As the NPCs put it, “The Master Awakener assessment is meant to determine whether an awakener possesses Master-level combat power and whether they are willing to contribute to humanity.”
That was why the assessment was usually a monster-hunting mission—and the required number of kills was quite high.
Chu Fu naturally had to complete the mission first.
She replied to Laoji Fuli, “We’re going to advance our classes. I estimate it’ll take us a day.”

“You must now travel to the future region of Linjiang City—the Level 30–40 map—and kill 500 Titans.
“Alternatively, you may kill five million undead!
“Or, if you believe your strength is sufficient, you can venture into the Level 40–50 mirrored future map and hunt ten bosses.”
They could choose from three missions.
Everyone could see the available choices, and they had to select the same mission before they could accept it.
“Wow, should we go to the higher-level map?” The Proud but Not Spoiled suggested. “We’re pretty fast at killing bosses. We can go to the Level 40–50 map and hunt bosses. Level 50 bosses might be a little difficult, but we can definitely crush Level 40 bosses. We only need to kill ten!”
