Big Boss: "Coming right away, boss! What's happened?"
Negative Times Negative: "Yeah, boss, you’ve even got a Level 6 weapon. Who’s there to be afraid of?"
Heroic True Colors didn’t dare say anything—he wasn’t stupid. If he did, no one would come.
"It’s just the first team-building event for our Hero Alliance. Everyone, hurry over! The first one here gets 100 Survival Coins! The rest will get participation rewards."
He even sent 10 location cards to the group chat.
"Come quick! I’m providing the location cards—no excuses. Anyone who doesn’t show up gets kicked from the alliance."
Out of the 19 people in the group, a few were actually tempted and obediently set off.
Seeing this, Heroic True Colors let out a small sigh of relief. Stall, just stall. That’s all he needed. Thank goodness he’d upgraded to a Level 5 vehicle—otherwise, this would’ve been a real hassle.
Then, in a panic, he opened a private message: "Invincible Black Tornado has located me! What do I do?! Help me!"
No reply came from the other end. Heroic True Colors could only floor the accelerator, speeding like mad.
Qi Xu also pushed his speed to the limit. He’d already used the location cards—no point wasting the trip.
Thanks to his vehicle’s advantage, he cut diagonally across, forcing Heroic True Colors to a screeching halt. No need for fancy tactics—just brute force.
Heroic True Colors’ brakes failed in time, and he rammed straight into the side of Qi Xu’s vehicle.
Half of his front end crumpled, while Qi Xu’s car… only got two scratches.
Qi Xu wasn’t bothered. He had dozens of Basic Vehicle Repair Cards stockpiled. His ride was already banged up from monster collisions—no big deal. Use a card or leave it be—either way, it was fine.
Heroic True Colors didn’t even dare whimper. Clutching an unopened black-and-gold Gambler’s Supply Box in his arms, he figured he could always take one last gamble if things got desperate.
But not yet. Once backup arrived, even Invincible Black Tornado wouldn’t dare take on ten people at once! Then he’d be safe.
Qi Xu and Sweet Girl jumped out of the car, leaving Little Seven inside with Bian.
First, Qi Xu circled Heroic True Colors’ vehicle—a modified RV with full autopilot and robotic arms.
Peering through the window, he noted the decent interior decor, complete with an ashtray by the sill. But… the window wasn’t fully closed.
Qi Xu promptly shoved Sweet Girl through the gap.
Then he strolled to the front and called out, "Big shot Hero, why hide? Come out and chat."
Heroic True Colors suddenly found the title "big shot" less flattering. His face twisted into a bitter grimace.
"N-no, I’m not a big shot! Just got lucky these past couple days. Tornado, I mean no harm—really, no offense intended."
Qi Xu snorted, grinning. "Not long ago, weren’t you trash-talking me in the chat hall for ‘failing to protect’ Little Chef’s trio? Got me thinking—you had a point. So here I am, solving the problem at the source."
Heroic True Colors wanted to cry. He hadn’t meant to be so bold, but… resisting was even scarier. Plus, sudden wealth had him hooked on the thrill of showing off.
He’d flaunted it in the chat hall, and the effect was instant. Everyone saw Heroic True Colors daring to challenge Invincible Black Tornado and acknowledged his strength.
Those who disliked Invincible Black Tornado even reached out to him.
Heroic True Colors had reveled in it then—now, he was stunned.
"I didn’t even do anything! Just talked some trash, and now you’re here to kill me? What kind of logic is that?!"
Heroic True Colors was stalling for time. So was Qi Xu.
A chance for Sweet Girl to practice was good. Besides, ambushes and assassinations were her specialty.
Soon, multiple parallel highways appeared.
Qi Xu pulled out the Pink Chainsaw, encased himself in mecha armor, and equipped all protective gear. Better safe than sorry—even ants could kill elephants. To live long, never let your guard down.
Sweet Girl quickly slithered into the driver’s seat. First time killing a human—she was excited. Should she bite straight away or flick her tongue first?
Recalling her master’s teachings—strike fast, precise, and ruthless—she decided against the tongue flick. Straight to biting.
Heroic True Colors was trembling, completely unaware of the little snake now on him.
Sweet Girl cautiously crawled up his back, wriggling left and right until she found the tenderest spot. Then she opened her jaws wide and chomped down hard…
Only to find the meat a bit tough.
Heroic True Colors had been agonizing over whether to open the Gambler’s Supply Box when a pained scream tore from his throat—his vision darkened instantly.
Within seconds, everything blurred. Qi Xu, watching from outside, saw Heroic True Colors’ avatar frame flicker rapidly.
The moment it started flashing, Qi Xu used the Pink Chainsaw to slice through the car window.
Worried the guy might die before he could use the Plunder Card, Qi Xu acted fast. This guy had to be loaded—ranked 15th on the monthly leaderboard, top 10 in dungeons, plus the Gambler’s Supply Box windfall…
The glass shattered. Though the door remained locked, it didn’t matter anymore. Qi Xu tossed the card onto Heroic True Colors’ body.
[Congratulations! Player Invincible Black Tornado has successfully plundered all of Player Heroic True Colors’ supplies!]
Simultaneously, Heroic True Colors’ avatar frame went completely dark.
Qi Xu was dumbfounded.
He’d expected little resistance, but not this much of a cakewalk. No survival items? What gave him the guts to act so recklessly?!
Had he misjudged? Was Heroic True Colors not tied to the Gambler’s Supply Box? Or was there someone behind him? But Bian said his closest contacts were Big Boss and Negative Times Negative.
Those two couldn’t be much better than Heroic True Colors, could they?
Qi Xu was baffled.
Scanning the plundered supplies, he sighed deeply—so frustrated he wanted to curse.
Heroic True Colors was nowhere near as loaded as the adorable God of Light. This guy had everyone fooled, acting all high and mighty when in reality… he was broke.
Aside from basic materials, there was barely anything worthwhile.
"Vehicle Upgrade Card Fragments ×1933, Weapon Enhancement Cards ×13, Energy Stones ×98, Pet Evolution Candy ×1, 856 Survival Coins, Any Station Selection Card ×1, Vehicle Canopy ×1, Level 6 Pistol ×1, Gambler’s Supply Box ×9, Autopilot System ×1, Auto-Collection Robotic Arm ×1, Energy Robot ×1, Bullets ×29, Universal Seeds ×1, Freezer ×1, Vehicle AC ×1, Arable Land ×4, Intermediate Pet Egg ×1, Pet ×1…"
Qi Xu almost felt cheated using the Plunder Card. These things couldn’t be bought—only obtained through rewards…
