Having been Xie Tangning’s brother for more than a decade, Xie Changyu recognized that stubborn-mule expression immediately. He knew she and the assistant director had definitely been hiding something from him.

When Director Zhang pushed a little cart loaded with gifts inside, he saw all the guests gathered around the assistant director, praising him in unison.
The sight was so bizarre that he backed out and came in again, only to discover that he hadn’t walked into the wrong place and wasn’t hallucinating either.
