How was she supposed to serve him?
Song Xinya understood instantly.
The two of them hadn't seen each other for a long time. As the saying goes, absence makes the heart grow fonder. Now that they were reunited, it was naturally like a long drought meeting sweet rain. Like dry wood meeting a spark, they ignited at the slightest touch.
This was human nature, and also a physical instinct.
For adults, this kind of need was as indispensable as eating and drinking.
Song Xinya understood this principle.
But that didn't mean she wouldn't be shy.
Blushing, she turned her face to the side, her eyelashes fluttering, and softly hummed in agreement.
Qin Yuhe looked at her flushed cheeks, thinking to himself that they still hadn't done it enough; that was why she blushed so easily. He would have to do it more often in the future.
After applying the ice pack for a while, the burning, painful, and swollen sensation on her ankle disappeared.
Song Xinya slightly retracted her jade-white calf that was resting on his thigh.
Her smooth skin rubbed against his black suit pants for a short distance, causing the neat fabric to wrinkle.
His large hand kept holding her calf. The smooth, mutton-fat jade-like touch lingered in his palm—warm, soft, and tender.
The desire lying dormant deep in his heart was awakened. His body acted a step ahead of his reason; his hand squeezed her calf forcefully, his nails digging into her flesh.
Crescent-shaped indentations appeared on her white, tender calf.
A slight stinging pain was mixed with a numb, electric sensation.
It was hard to say whether it was pain or pleasure, or perhaps both.
Actually, Song Xinya was no stranger to this feeling.
Qin Yuhe had given it to her time and time again...
Her heart swayed, and her body became even more sensitive. The nails digging into her flesh turned into electrodes, sending a steady stream of electric current from his fingertips into her skin, drilling into her blood, and numbing every meridian in her body.
Song Xinya's heart palpitated endlessly.
She didn't know what he was going to do. They were in the living room, after all.
Even if he had a fetish for trying things outside the bedroom, he should at least wait until no one was around.
Right now, there were still maids in the living room.
Song Xinya's held leg struggled a bit. Failing to control her strength, her white foot stepped onto his shoulder.
Her beautiful leg was lifted high.
Qin Yuhe looked over at her, his eyes darkening.
Realizing something, Song Xinya didn't cover herself this time. She leaned her full upper body toward him and covered his eyes with her palm. "You're not allowed to look."
Qin Yuhe didn't struggle, letting her cover his eyes. A faint smile graced his thin, red lips. "Then who is allowed to look?"
Song Xinya reached out her other hand, covering his mouth with her palm. "You're not allowed to speak."
With both his eyes and mouth covered, Qin Yuhe thought to himself, fortunately, she didn't forbid him from breathing.
Song Xinya pulled her leg out of his grasp and let go of her hands covering his face.
Qin Yuhe reached out his hand and helped her straighten her messy skirt.
He looked down at her ankle, which hadn't completely unswollen yet, and asked, "Does it still hurt?"
"It doesn't hurt anymore," Song Xinya looked at him. "After you iced it for me, it's much better than at the beginning."
Qin Yuhe instructed, "When animals are injured, in order to avoid being attacked or preyed upon, they choose to hide. Humans are the same. Don't see your enemies when you are vulnerable."
"Recently, no matter what that mother and daughter say or do to you, do not go see them again."
Song Xinya replied with an "Okay."
Qin Yuhe's deep voice was wrapped in tenderness as he told her, "Until your foot heals, I will stay by your side."
Surprise surged in Song Xinya's eyes. "What about your work? You're so busy."
Lowering his long eyelashes, Qin Yuhe pondered for a moment and said, "Accompanying you is the priority. I'll handle work in my spare time."
Song Xinya didn't refuse his kindness and accepted it generously. "Thank you."
Qin Yuhe didn't offer any polite clichés either, simply replying, "You're welcome."

On the other side, after Song Xinya and Qin Yuhe left, Li Cuirou and Zhang Yingying walked home dejectedly.
After recovering from their fear of Qin Yuhe, Zhang Yingying suddenly realized something she had overlooked and abruptly turned to look at Li Cuirou.
"Mom, don't you think that woman's voice just now sounded a bit familiar?"
Li Cuirou: "It did sound a bit familiar. I feel like I've heard it somewhere before."
Zhang Yingying's eyes suddenly lit up: "That woman's voice sounded like Song Xinya!"
Li Cuirou: "It seems a bit like her."
Zhang Yingying thought back carefully: "I don't think it's just a bit similar, I think it's exactly like her!"
Li Cuirou: "So what if it's similar? She's not Song Xinya. Song Xinya doesn't have the good fortune to be favored by the most handsome, wealthy, and powerful prince of high society."
Zhang Yingying: "Is there a possibility that she is Song Xinya?"
Li Cuirou: "Song Xinya weighs a hundred and eighty pounds, fat as a pig. That woman had a slender and graceful figure, a million times better than Song Xinya's."
Zhang Yingying: "What if Song Xinya lost weight?"
Li Cuirou: "Song Xinya weighs a hundred and eighty pounds. That woman looked like she didn't even weigh a hundred pounds. Losing eighty pounds in a year, do you think that's possible?"
Zhang Yingying thought about herself: "Anyway, I couldn't do it."
Li Cuirou: "Never mind you, I've lived for decades, and struggling to lose even ten pounds in a year is hard enough, let alone eighty pounds. How much willpower would that take?"
Zhang Yingying said confidently: "If neither of us can do it, Song Xinya definitely can't do it either."
Li Cuirou agreed: "Definitely."
The mother and daughter walked to the door of their villa and saw a rectangular brocade box resting on the ground. It was gorgeously crafted, a work of exquisite workmanship.
The money-loving mother and daughter's eyes suddenly lit up.
Zhang Yingying took a step over and picked the brocade box up from the ground. "What is this?"
Li Cuirou: "Looking at the craftsmanship, it seems like a jewelry box for high-end gems."
Zhang Yingying glanced around: "Who put it here?"
Li Cuirou: "It might be a gift from someone from a lesser family trying to curry favor with us."
Zhang Yingying shook the brocade box: "What's inside?"
Li Cuirou was also full of curiosity: "Hurry up and open it to see."
Zhang Yingying opened the brocade box, and the mother and daughter leaned their heads in together.
"Hiss—"
A snake flicking its tongue slithered out from inside, lunged at Zhang Yingying's face, and bit her.
A heart-piercing scream tore through the sky, startling the birds resting in the trees and sending them flapping away.
Zhang Yingying twisted her body, screaming and struggling. She grabbed the snake's body with both hands and flung it to the side.
Without deviating an inch, the snake was thrown right onto Li Cuirou's face.
"Hiss—"
The snake latched onto Li Cuirou's face and bit her.
A bamboo viper. A venomous snake.
The mother and daughter's faces quickly swelled up like pigs' heads, and they ended up in the ICU.
………
Zijin Mansion.
At dinnertime, very uncharacteristically, Song Tingye, who usually acted like a reincarnated starving ghost who could never eat enough, didn't come out for dinner.
Song Xinya came to his door and knocked. "Come out, tonight we have stir-fried beef, braised beef, roast beef, and stewed beef. Are you eating or not?"
Song Tingye's voice came through the door panel: "Sis, I'm doing a literature test paper right now. Don't delay my studies."
Song Xinya: "So you're not eating?"
Song Tingye: "I'm addicted to learning. I don't want to eat."
Song Xinya turned her head and slipped away. Suit yourself if you don't want to eat.
After dinner, Qin Yuhe carried Song Xinya upstairs in his arms.
Once all the noise in the living room died down, a tightly shut door opened just a crack, and Song Tingye's round little head peeked out.
His eyes swept across the living room. Seeing that no one was around, he slipped out of his room. Tiptoeing with his back hunched and his hands dangling in front of his chest, he looked incredibly sneaky.
The very person who had just claimed he had no appetite was now standing in the kitchen, holding a skewer of roasted beef. He took a massive bite, grease smearing all over his mouth as he chewed happily.
From the second floor, Song Xinya watched the whole scene unfold.
She smiled to herself and said nothing, turning around to head back to the bedroom.
Better leave the kid some dignity. She wouldn't expose him; she would just let him eat in secret so he could grow up big and strong.
Song Xinya's foot had recovered enough for her to walk, but she moved very slowly to avoid aggravating the pain.
By the time she returned to the bedroom, Qin Yuhe had already finished washing up. His tall, lean, and muscular body was seated on the bed.
He wasn't wearing pajamas, just a loosely tied bathrobe with the collar hanging wide open, revealing the faint, rugged lines of his chest. His black hair was still damp, and a stray droplet of water dripped from the tips, tracing the smooth column of his neck before slipping beneath the fabric of his robe—a sight that left plenty to the imagination.
When Qin Yuhe saw Song Xinya, his eyes darkened. Come here, he said.
Song Xinya walked toward him, her heart beating faster.
As she approached, he parted his legs and pulled her right into his embrace between them.
She remained standing while he sat. One of his hands rested against her back, while the other wrapped around her thigh.
He buried his face in her chest, breathing in her soft, sweet scent.
His large, strong hand, corded with faint veins, stroked down her back and gave her rear a heavy squeeze.
Do you know how to serve a man?
