Not Close in Public, Preparing for Pregnancy in Private, Pampered with Affection Every Night

Chapter 47

Putting his phone into his pocket, Qin Yuhe released his grip on Song Xinya's waist and strode toward the sofa with his long legs.

His black leather shoes stepped on the marble floor, making a deep, steady sound.

He sat on the sofa, his tall and robust body sinking into the cushions, his long legs spread casually.

Resting his head back against the sofa, his eyes were closed, and his long eyelashes cast a heavy shadow over his cool, pale cheeks.

He looked slightly exhausted.

Song Xinya walked over and sat beside him. "Did you run into a difficult problem at work?" she asked softly.

"No," Qin Yuhe replied. "I probably just didn't sleep well last night. I'm feeling a bit tired."

Song Xinya secretly laughed to herself.

Last night, the two of them had tossed and turned from ten o'clock until four in the morning. She was actually fine, as she wasn't the one doing all the heavy lifting. He, on the other hand, had been full of passion, engaging in high-intensity exercise the entire time, only to get up at seven in the morning. If he wasn't tired, who would be?

So he actually could get tired.

Does this mean they could call a truce for tonight?

Song Xinya felt a surge of secret delight.

Suddenly, her slender wrist was grasped by his large hand, and he pulled her into his embrace.

Her soft, warm body pressed against his chest, the palms of her hands resting against his pectoral muscles. Her entire being was enveloped by his lean, muscular frame, making her look incredibly delicate, tender, and fragile.

She looked utterly endearing, entirely at his mercy.

The hands she had placed over his chest could clearly feel the beating of his heart—thump, thump—vigorous and powerful.

Song Xinya tilted her beautiful face up to look at him, her watery eyes glistening. "I've learned how to do massages," she offered thoughtfully. "Let me massage your temples to help relieve some of the fatigue."

Her hands moved to his temples, pressing down rhythmically. The pressure was neither too light nor too heavy; it was just right.

Sitting on the sofa, she leaned her upper body toward him at an angle to massage his temples.

She had to rely entirely on her waist for support and leverage.

This position was quite tiring. After massaging for only a short while, she began to feel the strain, and soft pants escaped her lips.

Her breath was like an orchid, sweet and fragrant, brushing gently against the man's face.

A restless heat stirred in Qin Yuhe's heart.

He opened his eyes, his dark, bottomless pupils gazing deeply at her. "Is this position convenient for you?"

Song Xinya answered truthfully, "Not really. It's a bit tiring."

Qin Yuhe lifted the arms he had been resting on the sofa, gripping her waist with both hands. With effortless ease, he picked her up, nudged her legs apart with his knees, and settled her down so she was straddling his lap.

"How about this position?"

Song Xinya replied, "...It's more convenient than the last one."

Qin Yuhe's voice curled with a smile. "Very convenient indeed."

Song Xinya had a sneaking suspicion that the "convenience" he was talking about wasn't the innocent kind.

However, seeing that he didn't make any further moves, she continued to massage his temples.

He no longer closed his eyes; his deep, dark gaze remained fixed on her.

Song Xinya's eyes fluttered nervously, not daring to meet his gaze.

The thighs beneath her were lean and rock-hard, and the hands gripping her waist pressed firmly into her soft flesh.

Being stared at so intensely by a man, even if they were husband and wife, made her feel shy.

Song Xinya covered his eyes with the palm of her hand. "No looking."

Qin Yuhe gave a lazy smile. "I'm not even allowed to look at your face?"

"No," Song Xinya said.

She sounded like an unreasonable child demanding that things be done her way.

Qin Yuhe chuckled and closed his eyes, indulging her. "Alright, I won't look."

Song Xinya continued to massage his temples.

The two were close to each other, the room quiet, leaving only the sound of their breathing and the touch of their fingertips.

After massaging him for quite a while, Song Xinya's fingers grew sore.

She asked him, "Feeling any better?"

Qin Yuhe replied, "A little bit."

With an earnest, inquisitive look, Song Xinya asked, "What would make you feel a whole lot better?"

Qin Yuhe lifted his gaze, looking at her as he said, "Do it with me."

A rosy flush spread across Song Xinya's cheeks.

She had originally thought she could take a day off today. Now, it seemed not only was that impossible, but he even wanted to squeeze in an extra session at noon.

Song Xinya asked, "Aren't you tired?"

When you are tired, you should rest so you can relieve the fatigue. Why did he still want to do it? His way of relaxing was so different from anyone else's.

It was the exact opposite of what normal people did.

Qin Yuhe said, "I will feel completely refreshed after we are done."

Song Xinya felt a shiver down her spine, feeling like she was going to be drained dry by him.

Qin Yuhe asked, "After we finished last night, I applied some ointment for you. Does it still hurt?"

The ointment was actually quite good; it didn't hurt at all after it was applied.

But Song Xinya said, "It hurts. It still hurts right now, it hurts so much."

Qin Yuhe replied, "Mm, alright then."

Song Xinya smiled slyly, like a cunning little fox.

A knocking sound came at the door. The assistant was standing outside.

Given that the last time he walked in, he saw Song Xinya straddling Qin Yuhe's lap in an intimate embrace, the assistant was worried about walking in on the same scene. Seeing things he shouldn't see too often might make his boss think he lacked tact. So, instead of pushing the door open directly, the assistant wisely chose to knock first.

Song Xinya rested her hands on Qin Yuhe's shoulders and slid her hips all the way down along his thighs.

Fabric rubbed against fabric, their body heat mingling.

The places where their bodies pressed together felt like they were on fire, burning hot.

She felt a bit embarrassed and a little regretful. Had she known, she wouldn't have gotten off him this way; it felt like she was deliberately teasing and flirting with him.

She should have just lifted one leg, stepped over him, and gotten down.

When Song Xinya's hips reached Qin Yuhe's knees, she acted as if she had been electrocuted. With a hasty and flustered motion, she slid and hopped off.

"I will get the door."

She jogged over to the entrance and pulled open the office door.

The assistant held up the food containers in his hands and said, "Miss Song, I am here to deliver lunch."

"Thank you," Song Xinya took the containers, closed the door, and placed them on the table.

Qin Yuhe sat across from her, and the two ate together.

Inside the container, fresh, high-quality steak had been charcoal-grilled to a honey-colored crust. The seared exterior locked in the rich, luscious juices, while the melted fat formed glistening drops of oil that seeped into the meat's texture. Crushed black pepper was embedded in the charred surface, topped with a sprig of green rosemary. The mouthwatering aroma of roasted meat rushed up to greet them, thoroughly stimulating the appetite.

Qin Yuhe hooked a finger around Song Xinya's container, pulled it over, cut the steak into perfectly uniform bite-sized pieces, and pushed it back in front of her.

When she wanted to eat crab, he flawlessly picked all the crab meat out for her.

When she wanted a drink of water, he unscrewed the bottle cap for her.

Perhaps this was the natural demeanor of the eldest son of a prestigious family; his upbringing was carved into his very bones, allowing him to maintain his gentlemanly grace at all times.

After lunch, the two of them walked into the bedroom hidden behind the bookshelf in his office.

The blanket on the bed was thrown back, and the bedsheets were creased with folds.

Song Xinya could roughly guess that Qin Yuhe didn't like the company staff entering this bedroom, and he especially disliked anyone else touching his bedding.

He took care of this bedroom all by himself.

But he was always busy with work and rarely had the time to tidy up, so his blankets and bedsheets weren't made every day.

Song Xinya walked over to the bed and knelt on the mattress, dipping her waist. The posture perfectly accentuated her figure, highlighting her slender waist and the fullness of her curves.

Her pale, delicate fingers brushed over the fabric section by section, smoothing out every single crease.

Qin Yuhe stood behind her, his dark eyes watching her with a heavy, intense gaze.

Seeing that the bedsheets were now perfectly neat, Song Xinya slowly shuffled her knees backward.

Just as she reached the edge of the bed and prepared to step down, Qin Yuhe's hands firmly gripped her waist, and he pressed himself against her...
