All the directors of the Qin Group had already gathered in the conference room.
President Qin, who was always punctual and kept his word, was late today.
The directors all knew that Qin Yuhe was exceptionally responsible when it came to work. In the more than ten years since he had taken charge of the Qin Group, he had never been late even once.
Faced with this sudden situation, the directors’ first thought was not that President Qin had been slacking off. Instead—
Had something happened to President Qin?
Or had he come down with a serious illness?
The directors looked at the assistant worriedly. “If anything has happened to President Qin, don’t keep it from us. Just tell us. We’ll bring some gifts and go visit him in the hospital.”
The assistant said, “What are you thinking? President Qin is perfectly fine. Right now…”
He was probably having the time of his life.
“At the moment, he’s busy dealing with an urgent matter.”
The directors asked, “What urgent matter?”
“Company secrets. I don’t know either.”
Based on his own experience, the assistant estimated that President Qin would probably be out in half an hour.
Half an hour passed, then another half hour, but President Qin still had not come out.
Inside the president’s office, Song Xinya was kneeling on the spacious, sturdy mahogany desk. Her red high heels dangled precariously from her fair, slender ankles.
A stack of documents on the desk could no longer withstand the violent rocking. One after another, they tumbled to the floor, the loud thuds echoing through the room.
Another hour passed before President Qin finally appeared in the conference room.
All the directors turned to look at him. President Qin, who was usually immaculate, had slightly disheveled hair today.
His white shirt was no longer crisp and pristine. It was damp with sweat and covered in wrinkles where it had been gripped.
Qin Yuhe sat in the center of the conference room, his expression cold and solemn, his whole bearing restrained and abstinent.
He looked like an entirely different person from the crazed, lustful man he had been earlier.
Three hours later, the board meeting ended.
He walked back into the conference room, but the uniquely intimate, lingering scent in the room had yet to dissipate.
Qin Yuhe went over to the desk to clean up the aftermath.
It was covered in traces left behind by Song Xinya. It was better for him to take care of it himself.
He swept the wads of tissues scattered across the floor into the wastebasket.
He picked up the high heels that had slipped from her feet—one on the left, one on the right—and placed them together.
Then he gathered the documents lying all over the floor.
Two of them caught Qin Yuhe’s attention.
The words on them had become blurred from being soaked through, and they carried a peculiar scent.
Qin Yuhe turned his head and glanced at Song Xinya, who was sleeping soundly on the sofa. The corners of his lips lifted in a smile.
His wife ruined not only bedsheets, but documents as well.
Those two documents could no longer be used, so Qin Yuhe printed out fresh copies.
The other party had already signed them, which meant they would have to sign again.
Qin Yuhe stood at the office door, called his assistant over, and handed him the new documents. “Have the other party sign these again.”
The assistant said, “I remember these two documents had already been signed. Why do they need to be signed again?”
Qin Yuhe asked, “Do you enjoy talking so much?”
The assistant took the documents and turned to leave. “I’ll have the other party sign them again right away.”
When Song Xinya woke up, she pushed herself upright on the sofa and said, “I’m going to work.”
“You don’t need to,” Qin Yuhe said. “The workday is already over.”
Song Xinya stared at him in stunned disbelief.
One hand clutching the blanket around her body, she pointed at Qin Yuhe with the other. “You! Why didn’t you wake me up?”
“I wanted to let you sleep a little longer.”
“We only did it for two hours. You didn’t have to let me sleep for four!”
Qin Yuhe focused on the important part. “Only two hours? Are you complaining that I didn’t last long enough?”
Song Xinya: “...Was that the point?”
“That’s part of the point too. I need to explain myself, because you kept urging me to hurry, so I had to finish in a rush.”
Song Xinya said, “I get it, I get it. You’re amazing. You have incredible stamina. You’re very impressive. Is that good enough?”
“Good enough.”
He was really particular when it came to this sort of thing.
Song Xinya smiled and asked, “Where are my clothes? Bring them to me.”
Qin Yuhe opened a drawer and took out her panties. Then he picked up the bra hanging from the money tree and held it in his hand.
Her shirt and skirt were already draped over the armrest of the sofa.
Qin Yuhe handed Song Xinya her clothes one by one, and she got dressed.
The two of them were both very particular about their appearance, yet today their clothes were wrinkled beyond recognition.
The next day, and the day after that, Song Xinya went to President Qin’s office again.
When they went home, both of them once again had clothes covered in wrinkles.
Song Xinya was extremely satisfied with the results of those three visits.
During the day, at the company, inside the president’s office, with only a wall separating them from everyone else, other people were working nervously and busily while the two of them were getting up to no good.
The soundproofing in Qin Yuhe’s office was excellent, so Song Xinya had no need to worry about anyone hearing them.
Her soft, tender voice rippled from her lips like spring water, smooth and sweet as chocolate.
At times like this, her voice always carried every kind of emotion: longing, brokenness, unbearable need, exquisite relief, and more. Whatever emotion she was feeling, Qin Yuhe understood it all. He always gave her exactly what she wanted.
He was an exceptionally good partner—in every possible way.
The three times, the two of them had worked together in perfect harmony.
Song Xinya thought, Surely she had to be pregnant this time!
Full of confidence, she was certain that she would not get her period next month!
