Under the lens of the "Little Bee" drone, Wang Tianwei darted back and forth, all just to retrieve the wild boar corpse that Valk had thrown out again!
Her two teammates provided constant cover, making the three opponents grind their teeth in anger, yet they couldn't do anything about her!
Because they were covered in blood, they were forced into a fierce battle with two star beasts!
Pearl already had a faint premonition that she might lose today...
There was indeed a reason why two A-ranks and one S-rank could survive until now!
Bang!
Seizing the right moment, Jian Jingyu eliminated Yuna with a single paintball!
Holding her rifle, Yuna turned her head in disbelief.
Are you crazy?!
Immediately after, she was kicked flying by Zhang Lyra, causing the attacking star beast to bite at empty air!
Looking back like that, do you have a death wish?!
Yuna flew over ten meters away. When she landed, she was absolutely fuming with nowhere to vent her anger!
Propping herself up to sit, if Jian Jingyu hadn't eliminated her, how could she have been distracted? She was almost bitten by the star beast!
Ah!!!
Furious, she smashed her rifle onto the ground, but accidentally pulled her shoulder...
Hiss!
Couldn't she kick a little lighter?!
The star beast knew nothing about any competition, nor did it care whether you were eliminated or not!
It only knew that the red-haired human reeked of blood, and it would soon be able to eat her!
Seeing this, Jian Jingyu quickly threw her a bottle of scent blocker.
Spray more on yourself!
Then he filled the gap and continued fighting the star beast!
Hurry up and leave!
Wang Tianwei roared at the person sitting on the ground getting in the way.
I know!
Yuna picked up the scent blocker, spraying it on her feet while angrily getting up and walking out of the battlefield. The safety instructor had already come to pick her up.
Damn it! It was clearly them throwing corpses around that attracted the star beasts...
The rifle in Shi Xiangchun's hands had stopped at some point. He glanced at his captain's side, who was still barely holding on, and then looked at Jian Jingyu.
The safety instructors wouldn't let students die here, so eliminating opponents was more important right now. They absolutely could not lose to Qilin!
He silently swapped his rifle for a paintball gun and aimed at Jian Jingyu's back...
Without the fire support of her teammates, Pearl, a commander, found it even more difficult to deal with a high-level star beast alone.
She had to retract all her mental energy to attack the star beast, making Wang Tianwei and her two teammates instantly feel a sense of relief in their heads!
Seeing that the star beast hadn't fallen despite taking so many shots, and a single swipe of its claws created a deep trench in the ground... its physical strength was simply exaggerated!
Pearl tripped over her own feet. Doomed! At the critical moment, Zhang Lyra rushed over and drew the star beast's attention!
Bang!
Bang!
Two paintballs were fired almost simultaneously! They collided mid-air and exploded! Then came another Bang!
It broke Jian Jingyu out in a cold sweat.
Sister Zebra! Am I eliminated?!
He knew he had his back to the enemy, but he had no choice! This star beast was quite tough to deal with!
He only heard the sound, but didn't seem to feel the impact of a paintball on his body, so was he eliminated or not?
Don't worry! With me here, even if the star beast is eliminated, you won't be!
Wang Tianwei switched weapons and flanked from behind, charging at the star beast's hind legs with a chainsaw!
Among the trees, Shi Xiangchun's face was covered in paint, and he opened his mouth to spit out a puff of colored smoke.
Heh...
After saving Pearl, Zhang Lyra attacked the star beast alongside her, but never used her full strength because she had to guard against a sneak attack.
As for Pearl's command orders, she ignored them completely!
You aren't my commander?!
Who knows how many steps ahead you chess-loving people have already planned?!
If she got set up now, she wouldn't even have a place to cry!
However, the burning heat rising within her body unconsciously made her attacks heavier!
Later on, the star beast even felt that the pain inflicted by this human was greater than the other!
So it stopped paying much attention to Pearl, and Zhang Lyra became its primary target!
The pressure on Pearl dropped sharply. Just as she was looking for a chance to eliminate the half-orc, Jian Jingyu and Wang Tianwei had already finished their side of things!
Bang!
Another paintball sent Pearl packing, and two blood-soaked figures sprinted past her.
Little Bear!!
Hey! Ugly thing! Look over here!
Pearl turned her head only to realize that all her teammates were gone!
Shi Xiangchun was walking out with a safety instructor, while the other two were waiting for him in front of an aircraft in the distance...
Valk Military Academy's Third Squad is eliminated, points cleared to zero.
...
With the entire enemy team eliminated, the three of them finally unleashed their full strength!
Wang Tianwei's chainsaw was even more fierce than a gun against this thick-skinned star beast, specifically targeting its hind legs!
Zhang Lyra and Jian Jingyu pinned the star beast down from the front. One aimed exclusively for its eyes, while the other switched between cold and thermal weapons, attacking wherever there was no defense!
Wang Tianwei even experimentally used her A-rank mental energy to disrupt the star beast. Although the effect was minimal, it wasn't completely useless.
Just as the star beast opened its massive mouth to bite, Zhang Lyra hurled a mutated wild boar corpse into it, wedging it perfectly in the beast's jaws!
With the main tendons in its hind legs sawed through, the star beast finally collapsed onto the ground! It still had a wild boar stuck in its mouth...
Taking the opportunity, Wang Tianwei dashed forward and used the chainsaw to slice the star beast's throat, while Jian Jingyu moved to pierce its heart!
Her hair, which she had just washed that morning, was dyed blood-red again and covered in the star beast's gray fur!
When the star beast finally stopped breathing, the three of them collapsed beside its corpse.
In the distance, the safety instructors confirmed there was no life-threatening danger and finally took the four from Valk onto the aircraft.
Qilin Military Academy's Fourth Squad, twenty points added.
The few of them had no strength left; even moving a finger felt difficult... Wang Tianwei glanced at her watch.
Phew, there are still... fifty minutes.
...I can't anymore. I feel completely drained.
Jian Jingyu's eyes were vacant. Staring at the azure sky, he felt like he would fall asleep in the next second.
After waiting for a long time without hearing Little Bear speak, Wang Tianwei struggled to lift her head.
Little Bear??
...
Zhang Lyra leaned against the star beast's corpse, her head lowered, hiding her expression.
Feeling something was wrong, Wang Tianwei crawled up and stuffed a piece of sugar taro into her mouth.
Little Bear? Lyra...?
Jian Jingyu barely gathered his senses and turned his head to look at his teammate. Why wasn't she saying anything?
Wang Tianwei crawled over on all fours and gently nudged Zhang Lyra. The half-orc collapsed as if she had no bones...
Little Bear!!!
Zhang Lyra's eyes were tightly shut, and her lips were terrifyingly pale!
Wang Tianwei immediately checked her body, but there were no wounds!
Peeling her eyelids open to check, Little Bear's eyes were rolled back, and her irises vaguely seemed to have turned red!
What's going on?! Why are Little Bear's eyes red!!
Jian Jingyu scrambled over as well. After seeing Zhang Lyra's condition, he exchanged a glance with Wang Tianwei. They couldn't delay!
Safety instructor, our Zhang Lyra withdraws!
Hurry and take her to the hospital!!!
The live comments finally started rolling in again.
Holy crap! Holy crap!! Holy crap! Extreme clutch kill!!
From now on, I am a fan of Qilin's Fourth Squad!!!
Badass!! So badass!!
Eyes turning red? Is it a mutation?!
Idiots! That means the half-orc is about to level up!!!
Just... leveling up like that?!
"If all A-ranks are like this, what else is there to say!!?"
"Did you guys see Wang Tianwei's marksmanship just now!? My mind is blown!!!"
"Jian Jingyu held his own against a high-tier star beast all by himself! This vanguard is insane! Once he's in his mecha, why would he even need backup? Going in there is just an absolute massacre!?"
