Panting softly, his hold on Yuan Shu shifted from one arm to both as he pulled her onto his lap.
His neck was arched high, making it seem as though this wasn't Yuan Shu's active seduction, but rather his willing surrender!
However, after leaving a few hickeys on his skin, Yuan Shu tilted her head back and looked at him with a teasing half-smile.
"Ji Yun, I'm a little tired. I don't have the energy to kiss you anymore."
His hazy eyes quickly cleared. Ji Yun glanced down at his parted robes, a flash of embarrassment crossing his face.
He hurriedly pulled his loose garments closed, his tone becoming rushed and flustered.
"Who... who asked you to kiss me!"
Yuan Shu tilted her head, amused by his flimsy cover-up, flushed cheeks, and blatant denial. She burst into laughter.
A slender, fair hand rested on his chest, slowly trailing along his firm, broad pectoral muscles in small circles.
The corners of her eyes lifted slightly, and with a quirk of her lips, she drew out her words in a questioning tone, "Are you sure you really... don't want to?"
Ji Yun's Adam's apple bobbed. Hearing that soft, bewitching voice, his mind couldn't help but flash back to the day Yuan Shu had pinned him beneath her.
A ball of fire suddenly flared up from deep within his body.
He was a virgin who had never touched another woman. His first time was inherently extraordinary, leaving a profound impression on him.
Especially since his first time involved Yuan Shu taking the initiative to press him down onto the bed.
That image, that sensation—no matter when or where he thought of it, it made his entire body go weak.
This Yuan Shu was just wicked; she was a total vixen!
Knowing full well he would fall for it, she still took the initiative to seduce him!
Making it so that ever since that day, he could never forget her!
And now, she was deliberately seducing him again!
Ji Yun wanted to say toughly, "No, I said no," but the words died on his lips.
His body was clearly much more honest than his mouth.
As that small hand caressed his chest, he could already faintly feel something stirring.
"Do you want it or not?"
Yuan Shu leaned close to his ear, her breath fragrant like orchids.
Ji Yun's entire body tensed. His grip on Yuan Shu's waist suddenly tightened, pressing her firmly against him.
Sensing something, Yuan Shu raised an eyebrow and then gave a meaningful smile.
She reached out and pinched Ji Yun's chin. "Don't you want it very much? Telling lies will make people take you seriously, you know."
Ji Yun lowered his eyes to look at Yuan Shu, his thin lips parting slightly. Shame and embarrassment overwhelmed his mind, and he stammered, "I... I..."
Yuan Shu didn't speak, just quietly looking at him.
Ji Yun hesitated, his reason and pride at war, his desire and temper clashing.
Seeing this, Yuan Shu chuckled softly and nodded. "It seems you really don't want it that much."
"If that's the case, forget it." As her words fell, the hand resting on his abdominal muscles withdrew, and she sat up, pulling away from Ji Yun's embrace.
With his arms suddenly empty, Ji Yun froze. By pure reflex, he grabbed Yuan Shu and pulled her back into his arms.
"Don't go."
His lips, which had been resting near her neck, now frantically kissed the skin of her shoulder.
The faint scent of pear blossoms lingered at his nose, making Ji Yun's entire being tremble with longing.
"Don't go!" he said, his tone laced with urgency.
It was as if he was terrified Yuan Shu would actually push him away and leave.
After a few kisses, feeling it wasn't enough, he turned Yuan Shu around, cupped the back of her head, and initiated a kiss on her lips.
It was a green, inexperienced kiss; even after being guided once before, his flustered state was still obvious.
Amidst his panic, he desperately wanted Yuan Shu's approval, so he could only use every trick he knew to prove himself.
It wasn't until he kissed himself out of breath and was bitten by Yuan Shu that he finally released her, his eyes red and a look of confusion in his expression.
He didn't understand why Yuan Shu had bitten him.
"You aren't planning on having some fun with me right here in mid-air, are you?"
Yuan Shu glanced around with a smile playing on her lips.
At this moment, they were still sitting on the back of a spirit crane, flying through the sky toward the Purple Sun Pavilion.
The wind howled softly, and the sunlight was scorching.
There was no telling when someone might accidentally look up and spot them.
Ji Yun's face instantly flushed crimson. He glared at Yuan Shu in humiliated anger and stubbornly retorted.
"I'm not that desperate!"
Yuan Shu was highly amused by his childish retort. Her crisp laughter echoed in the air, making the heat on Ji Yun's face burn even hotter.
"You... stop laughing! What's so funny!"
"You aren't laughing, so you won't allow me to laugh either? What kind of logic is that?" Yuan Shu continued to chuckle.
The sight of her eyes curving in mirth reflected in Ji Yun's gaze, making his cheeks burn with embarrassment.
He had been withdrawn and eccentric since childhood, with an extreme personality and hardly any friends around him.
He didn't even know how to interact normally with people.
If someone had dared to laugh at him like this in the past, he would have thrown a poison pill at them long ago.
But this person was Yuan Shu. Just last night, he had agonized for ages over which venomous insect to use on her.
Terrified that the insect's venom would be too strong and actually hurt her.
Now, asking him to lay a deadly hand on her—how could he possibly do that?
Ji Yun could only glare helplessly at Yuan Shu, hoping to intimidate her with his eyes into stopping her laughter.
But Yuan Shu had seen thousands of glares in her life; she wasn't about to be frightened by such a harmless look. She continued to laugh freely.
The clear sound of her laughter struck his eardrums. Humiliated and angry, Ji Yun ground his teeth fiercely. "Wicked woman, stop laughing!"
"Otherwise... otherwise I won't hold back!"
Yuan Shu's laughter paused for a second before she chuckled again, asking nonchalantly, "How exactly will you not hold back?"
"I..." Ji Yun wanted to throw out a few harsh threats, but meeting Yuan Shu's gaze, he knew she wasn't afraid of him.
Threats were useless!
His resentful gaze landed on Yuan Shu's face, traveling down from her eyes and slowly resting on her red lips.
Under Yuan Shu's slightly surprised gaze, he lowered his head and kissed her.
If he kissed her, she wouldn't be able to laugh anymore, right?
Ji Yun's kiss was urgent and fierce, carrying a hint of retaliation.
Cupping the back of Yuan Shu's neck with one hand, he almost instantly parted her teeth and deepened the kiss.
"Mmph."
Yuan Shu was momentarily stunned, her eyes narrowing slightly. This silly boy actually knew a way to shut her up.
Well, a green and clumsy kiss, with a unique flavor of its own—it wasn't bad at all.
The corners of Yuan Shu's lips curled up. She didn't struggle; instead, she submissively opened her mouth.
This made Ji Yun's heart skip a beat.
The hand supporting the back of Yuan Shu's neck applied a little more pressure, and he kissed her even harder.
It was as if he wanted to devour her completely!
This kiss lasted for a full quarter of an hour.
The passage of time didn't calm them down; instead, it made his restless heart beat even more intensely.
Ji Yun lowered his eyes, looking at Yuan Shu's beautiful little face so close to his, his unblinking gaze fixated on her exceptionally flushed lips.
That was the proof of his exertion.
Compared to poisoning Yuan Shu, it seemed he desired her willing surrender much more.
He wanted even more to personally do to her all those outrageous things she had done to him that day!
He lowered his head, unable to resist gently tasting her lips again.
There was her scent of pear blossoms, mixed with his scent of medicinal herbs.
Intertwined together, it was deeply stirring!
"Wicked woman, you're so wicked!"
...
It wasn't until a moment later, when the spirit crane landed in the courtyard of the Purple Sun Pavilion, that Ji Yun swept up his robes, scooped Yuan Shu into his arms in a bridal carry, and leaped gracefully to the ground.
Unable to wait another second, he took wide strides, carrying Yuan Shu straight into the halls of the Purple Sun Pavilion.
