Quick Transmigration: Don’t Let the Honest Person Play the Villainess

Chapter 365

As soon as the PK started, gifts filled the public chat, and the PK score surged ahead. The comments in the public chat flew by at lightning speed.

Ji Zhaoxi scrambled to thank everyone.

“Thank you for the Carnival from Sister Qinqin…”

“Thank you, L, for the Carnival rain…”

“Thank you for the Carnival, Lin Zhehan’s Wife…”

Before she could finish thanking them, another wave of Carnivals came pouring in.

There was no need for anyone to give instructions. The fans automatically started fighting the PK for her.

【Thank you for the Carnivals, sisters[heart]】

【Having our sisters here makes us feel so safe[sob]】

【All you students, protect Zhaoxi!】

【Beat that little punk on the other side to a pulp[muscle][muscle]】

Ji Zhaoxi had been livestreaming for quite some time, but she had never seen anything like this. Looking at the screen filled with Carnivals, she simply couldn’t suppress the smile at the corners of her lips.

“Thank you all for the gifts. Let’s wait for the next bonus round. Everyone, send your gifts during the bonus.”

Ji Zhaoxi took a sip of water. Across from her, Sanzi was being completely suppressed, and his face had gone dark.

Clutching the microphone, Sanzi was so agitated that his forehead was covered in sweat. The DJ music in the room was deafening, and he kept roaring at the top of his lungs.

“Everyone, don’t send anything yet! Save it for the bonus round!”

“Sister YY, can you send ten more Carnivals during the bonus? Brother Leng Jun, can you send Sanzi twenty more Carnivals later? And Sister Yu Qiuhu, Sister Green Bubble, Brother Apple… can you each send five more Carnivals?!”

Sanzi called out their names one by one, his eyes fixed desperately on the public chat.

【Save Sanzi[wailing]】

【There still aren’t any big brothers or sisters who can send Carnivals[wailing]】

【Protect our home[sob]】

Seeing his fans wailing in the public chat, Sanzi cursed under his breath.

What a bunch of idiots. All they did was cry, cry, cry every day, but they never sent any gifts!

The next bonus round began.

Both sides started soliciting votes.

Ji Zhaoxi busied herself thanking the big sisters again. She could barely keep up with them—before she had finished reading one name, another gift would arrive. They were coming so quickly that she kept stumbling over her words.

“Thank you, L. Thank you, Sister Little Train…”

Ji Zhaoxi stared blankly at the screen. She felt heat spreading through her body and couldn’t help fanning herself with her hand.

So many Carnivals.

【This is the first time I’ve seen something like this[shocked]】

【The sisters are so powerful!】

【L: Is it hot? Is the air conditioner on?】

【Don’t worry, baby. Spending money is what we’re professionals at.】

Ji Zhaoxi put on a more cheerful song as well; otherwise, the livestream would have felt too bare.

“Thank you all so much for the gifts, but whenever you send me something, please make sure to consider your own circumstances.”

The PK was so intense that she had forgotten to turn on the air conditioner. Once she switched it on, the heat in her body quickly faded.

Ji Zhaoxi scrolled through the list and discovered that several of her former big sisters had come back. They had all moved on to support other streamers, so she hadn’t expected them to return this time.

The round was about to end. Ji Zhaoxi had barely contributed at all; she had spent the whole time thanking her fans while the big sisters continued sending gifts like it was nothing.

Sanzi was already furious enough to start cursing.

The DJ music grew louder and louder. He shouted, “Is there really not a single big brother or sister willing to send a Carnival? The gap isn’t that big right now! Is there no one willing to protect our home?!”

Sweat trickled down his forehead, and his assistant silently wiped it away. Sanzi’s eyes reddened. Clutching the microphone, he choked out, “Is there really no one left…?”

His fans in the public chat were anxious as well.

【Save Sanzi[sob]】

【Uh… the gap is too big now. We can’t catch up. Why don’t we play properly next round…】

【Yeah, this round is definitely lost. Sending more now would just be a waste.】

【Let’s work harder next round. It’s fine—we still have two more rounds.】

Sanzi’s fans had already decided to give up on this round, but Sanzi didn’t see it that way.

The more Carnivals they sent, the more money he would make. How could he possibly give up just like that?

“There are only fifteen seconds left! Is there going to be a miracle? Is there any big brother or sister willing to send Sanzi a few more Carnivals?” Sanzi stared at the screen with bloodshot eyes.

The PK timer continued to tick down. He shouted and jumped around in his livestream, but not a single Carnival appeared.

The PK ended.

Ji Zhaoxi sat in her chair, and when she saw Sanzi’s ashen expression, she couldn’t help laughing.

After thanking his fans, Sanzi turned on his microphone with a cold expression.

“I lost this round. I’ll set the rules for the next one.”

He checked the number of viewers in Ji Zhaoxi’s livestream on another phone. She had fewer viewers than he did, though not everyone in his livestream was actually a fan. After hesitating for a moment, he spoke again.

“Let’s compare the number of Heart Rabbits sent.”

Ji Zhaoxi nodded. “Sure.”

Sanzi had once been able to put on an act, but now he couldn’t keep pretending at all. He wished he could tear Ji Zhaoxi apart!

The second PK began.

Looking at the public chat, Ji Zhaoxi said softly, “Everyone, please don’t send too many. One Heart Rabbit per person is enough. Thank you, everyone.”

【L sent Heart Rabbit ×1】

【Cindy sent Heart Rabbit ×1】

【wsn sent Heart Rabbit ×1】

【L5 sent Heart Rabbit ×1】

……

There really were a lot of people on Sanzi’s side, and the scores quickly evened out.

Ji Zhaoxi’s expression turned serious. “Everyone, wait a moment. I’m going to ask my parents to send me a Heart Rabbit too.”

With that, she hurried to the room next door.

Her parents were fast asleep, and the golden retriever beside them was snoring. When the door opened, the dog blinked awake, looking utterly bewildered.

“Mom, Dad, I’m borrowing your phones to send myself a Heart Rabbit.”

Ji Zhaoxi simply picked up both their phones and sent herself the gifts.

Ji’s mother opened her eyes blearily. “Zhaoxi, Mom doesn’t know how to do it. You handle it yourself, okay? Go have some soup after your livestream—it’s still hot.”

“Got it, Mom.”

Ji Zhaoxi put the phones back. Just as she was about to leave, something tugged at her pant leg.

She vigorously ruffled the dog’s head, then gently nipped it and whispered, “You fragrant little doggie, go back to sleep.”

The golden retriever wagged its tail and whimpered a few times before closing its eyes again.

Ji Zhaoxi quickly returned to her seat. The PK was extremely close, with her only slightly ahead of Sanzi.

“Thank you all for the Heart Rabbits.”

Ji Zhaoxi imitated the Heart Rabbit and made a heart shape toward the screen.

【Heart Rabbits are great. I can just afford my spicy snack money this week[happy]】

【Seeing my girl being so well cared for puts my mind at ease!】

【We Ji Family Army are finally standing tall too.】

Ji Zhaoxi couldn’t help laughing when she saw the comments.

“Students, make sure to save some money for your spicy snacks.”

【San-san’s Little Train sent Pinch-the-Cheeks ×1】

Ji Zhaoxi’s eyes curved into a smile when she saw the gift, and she reached up to pinch her own cheek.

【L2 sent Kiss ×1】

Ji Zhaoxi smiled and kissed the screen.

【Qinqin sent Drink-More-Hot-Water ×1】

Ji Zhaoxi put on a solemn expression and took a sip of imaginary hot water.

After sending their Heart Rabbits, the fans began having fun. They started sending all sorts of different gifts, and Ji Zhaoxi earnestly played along with every one of them.
