Not Close in Public, Preparing for Pregnancy in Private, Pampered with Affection Every Night

Chapter 322

The storm raged outside the tent, thunder roaring and rain lashing the canvas.

Inside, the air was stiflingly hot, the atmosphere charged with heat.

Song Xinya was drenched in sweat, as though she had just been caught in a downpour. Qin Yuhe slipped an arm around her slender waist and turned her over. He kissed the nape of her neck, one large hand supporting her back and keeping her from collapsing.

His lips trailed down the elegant line of her neck, his breath brushing against the smooth, pale skin of her back. In a low, husky murmur, he praised her for being so obedient and confessed that every night he was away on business, he imagined having her like this.

Song Xinya knelt before him, yielding to the storm of his passion.

In ordinary life, he was gentle, refined, and every inch a gentleman. But at times like this, he became wild and wicked, a shameless rogue—forceful, domineering, always taking the lead and determined to remain in complete control.

Tears of overwhelming pleasure slipped down Song Xinya’s cheeks. Hot droplets fell and splashed against the glass jar nearby.

The tent was filled with noise.

With Qin Yuhe’s vigorous movements, it was not only Song Xinya who swayed, but also the jar of fireflies.

The tiny, breathing creatures had no idea what was happening. All they knew was fear. They beat their little wings frantically, flying into the glass again and again.

Their tiny heads throbbed from the impacts. Their already limited wits grew even more frantic, and they flew about with greater desperation.

Twinkle, twinkle, little stars—those poor, helpless fireflies.

All the lights in the tent had been turned off. The only illumination came from the glow of the fireflies inside the jar.

Five meters away from the tent stood Tiantianquan and Chen Siyan.

Each wore a raincoat, but they were still standing in the middle of the pouring rain.

Their hoods covered their heads, and their raincoats covered their bodies, but their faces were left exposed. The downpour crashed against them and slipped through the gaps in their clothing.

Cold rainwater trickled down both their necks.

Tiantianquan wiped the water from her face and flung it forcefully to the side. “Damn it! Rainwater got inside my bra!”

Chen Siyan also wiped his face and flung the water away with a sharp slap. “Damn it! I wish I could transmigrate into raindrops!”

“Go die, you pervert,” Tiantianquan snapped.

“I’m giving you a sincere warning—don’t curse me. If I really die, I’ll immediately transmigrate into a raindrop and drip straight into your bra.”

Tiantianquan slapped him across the face.

“Thanks for helping me wash my face,” Chen Siyan said cheerfully. “Yahoo! I’m having a blast.”

Tiantianquan was completely at a loss.

Top line: If looks aren’t enough, make up for it with attitude.

Bottom line: Shamelessness conquers all.

Banner: What a piece of work.

Worried that talking to Chen Siyan any longer would make her draw a knife, Tiantianquan shifted her attention to the tent ahead.

“Hmm? Why do the shadows on the tent look like President Qin and Ya Bao are on top of each other?”

“Maybe they’re playing a game of human stacking,” Chen Siyan suggested.

“What kind of human stacking looks like that?”

Chen Siyan turned his head and stared straight at her. Through the curtain of rain, his eyes gleamed with unusual brightness.

“What do you think?”

Tiantianquan jumped in shock, clutching a tall blade of grass.

“Don’t talk nonsense! Stop spreading rumors! My Ya Bao is a very conservative girl!”

Chen Siyan placed both hands on her head and turned her face toward the undulating shadows on the tent.

“Seeing is believing, sis.”

Tiantianquan squeezed her eyes shut.

“No porn! No gambling! No porn, gambling, or drugs!”

Chen Siyan tugged her back. “All right, there’s nothing left for us to do here. Let’s go back.”

Just then, a bolt of thunder split the sky, and the rain came down even harder.

The branch that had been snapped in half was blown by the wind right over the drain.

Qin Yuhe had pitched his tent on higher ground. The water around it normally flowed downhill, so there was no danger of it pooling around the tent, let alone flooding it.

But no one could account for the weather. Who could have predicted that a sudden downpour would snap a tree in half, with the trunk conveniently blocking the drain?

With nowhere to go, the water continued to pile up, then began flowing toward the tent.

It was only a matter of time before it poured inside.

The two people in the tent were in the middle of a heated battle, completely oblivious to what was happening outside.

Tiantianquan stepped forward bravely. “Chen Siyan, the two of us are going to move that trunk out of the way. Let’s go!”

Who was Chen Siyan? He was the living embodiment of loyalty—and even in death, he would still be its embodiment.

“Move it! We absolutely have to move it! No one is allowed to interrupt President Qin and his wife while they’re having their fun—not even Heaven itself! Let’s go!”

And so, under the torrential rain, Tiantianquan and Chen Siyan each grabbed one end of the trunk and began heaving it aside.

The tree trunk was simply too heavy.

Tiantianquan summoned every last ounce of strength she had, gritting her teeth as she strained. “Aaaahhhh—!”

Honestly, if she had been pregnant, she felt like she could have given birth on the spot.

She was dedicating every bit of her strength to her best friend.

She tilted her head back and strained with all her might as the rain slapped loudly against her face.

But when she lowered her head and looked, the trunk hadn’t moved an inch.

Damn this thing. She wanted to give it a good beating.

“Chen Siyan, are you slacking off?”

“How am I slacking off? I’m straining so hard I’m about to shit out my hemorrhoids!”

“Then shit them out and grow another one.”

“On someone else’s butt!”

The two of them struggled with all their might, but the trunk didn’t budge even a little. It was doing serious damage to Chen Siyan’s pride as a man.

It made him look completely useless.

After thinking it over, Chen Siyan said, “We weren’t putting our strength together just now. We were pulling in different directions, so all the force was scattered. Here’s what we’ll do: I’ll count down three, two, one, and then we’ll push at the same time.”

Chen Siyan began calling out the countdown. “Three, two, one!”

This time, they successfully lifted the trunk.

Tiantianquan cried out happily, “Aaaaah! We did it!”

“Keep your voice down,” Chen Siyan said. “Don’t disturb the two people in the tent while they’re taking care of business.”

The two of them carried the trunk blocking the drain off to one side. To prevent anything like this from happening again, they each picked up a shovel and began digging drainage trenches.

The two people in the tent were working up a storm, while Tiantianquan and Chen Siyan were also working up a storm around it.

They dug a drainage ditch at each of the tent’s four corners. Even if one ditch became blocked, the other three would still allow the water to flow away.

Only after making absolutely sure the tent wouldn’t be flooded did the two of them leave.

The two people in the tent spent the entire night working themselves into a sweat.

Tiantianquan and Chen Siyan spent the entire night getting drenched.

The two of them looked like a pair of drowned rats. Their wet hair clung limply to their scalps, and water dripped from them everywhere. They were a thoroughly miserable sight.

They turned their heads and looked at each other, suddenly realizing that there had to be something wrong with them.

They had spent the whole night running themselves ragged over someone else’s sex life. Weren’t they the ultimate suckers?

They had never even cared this much about their own sex lives!

Scrubbing pots, washing dishes, and heating water for foot baths still weren’t enough. The two of them, determined to keep President Qin and Yaya entertained, hauled branches and dug drainage ditches, doing hard physical labor all night long in the pouring rain and howling wind.

What on earth were they doing?

They’d become addicted to being servants!
