Not Close in Public, Preparing for Pregnancy in Private, Pampered with Affection Every Night

Chapter 247

Zhang Yingying’s face flushed with embarrassment. “What do you mean I’m used to being kissed by men? Don’t talk nonsense.”

Song Xinya said, “Do you want me to spell out, right here in public, how you used your body to help Song Xuanli win over business partners?”

Zhang Yingying crumbled, her face full of panic. She couldn’t bear to stay any longer and fled in disgrace.

Song Xinya touched her neck, a belated realization hitting her—remembering that kiss, that gnawing bite, from Qin Yuhe before she left the house.

On purpose?

Like a dog marking its territory by peeing?

A twenty-nine-year-old man, acting so childish.

Song Xinya looked across at Han Jingyi, feeling not the slightest bit embarrassed.

After all, she was married. How could she not be intimate with her husband?

There was nothing strange about a married woman having a sex life; not having one would be the real oddity.

She didn’t need to avoid the topic, nor did she have anything to explain. She simply kept eating.

Han Jingyi had originally planned to mention, during the meal, that they might go to the mall together afterward.

By the end of dinner, he never brought it up.

Soon, dinner was over.

Song Xinya carried eight boxes of crystal shrimp dumplings back to the Forbidden City Mansion.

When she stepped into the living room, she saw Qin Yuhe sitting on the sofa, facing the entrance.

“Mr. Qin, I’m back.”

Qin Yuhe’s lips curled slightly. “You’re home early.”

Song Xinya asked, “Is early a bad thing?”

Qin Yuhe replied, “No.”

Song Xinya placed the shrimp dumplings on the table, and Song Tingye came running back the moment he caught the scent.

“Sis, best sister in the world, I knew just from the smell that you’d brought me something delicious.”

Song Xinya took out one box of shrimp dumplings and flipped open the lid. Song Tingye buried his face right into the box, not even bothering with chopsticks. He opened and closed his little mouth, plucking a dumpling out with his lips.

One bite, and the savory, delicious flavor filled his entire mouth.

So fresh—it was like tasting an ocean in every bite.

“Holy crap, these shrimp dumplings are amazing!”

Song Xinya picked up her chopsticks and tapped Song Tingye on the head. “If they’re good, just say they’re good. What’s with the ‘holy crap’?”

Song Tingye whined, “Sis, go easy, it’s my head, not a wooden fish drum.”

Song Xinya set aside two boxes for herself and pushed the remaining six toward Song Tingye. “Take these and share them with your three friends.”

Song Tingye hugged the six boxes and walked over to the study desk where four kids were studying. “Buddy, big bro is giving you guys shrimp dumplings to share.”

“One for Little Princess, one for me.”

“One for Little Sister, one for me.”

“One for Master Jin, one for me.”

Then Song Tingye claimed three boxes for himself. “These all belong to me.”

The three kids stared in shock. “You learned how to divvy up food from Liu Xing in Home with Kids, didn’t you?”

Song Tingye said, “If there’s no objection, eat the dumplings. If there is, keep it to yourself.”

Qin Yuyan muttered, “Eating till you’re stuffed and sleeping like a little pig—what’s the difference?”

Song Tingye replied, “The difference is, I’m not a little pig. I’m a big pig.”

Qin Yuyan shot back, “When New Year’s comes, they’ll chop you up and throw you in a pot to stew.”

Song Tingye picked up a dumpling with his chopsticks and tossed it into his mouth. “If you dare eat it, I’m willing to offer up this body of mine for you.”

Qin Yuyan shuddered. “Ew—I’m not eating your body.”

She looked up at Song Xinya on the other side of the living room. “Sister-in-law, give me another box of shrimp dumplings.”

Song Xinya held the two remaining boxes and walked over to Qin Yuhe. “I’ll buy you more tomorrow. These two boxes today are for your brother to eat.”

Qin Yuyan would never dare to fight Qin Yuhe for food. She obediently said, “Okay!”

Song Xinya sat down on the sofa next to Qin Yuhe, opened a box, picked up a shrimp dumpling with her chopsticks, and held it to his lips. “Open up. With me—ahhh—”

Qin Yuhe’s lips twitched, but no sound came.

Song Xinya urged, “Oh, come on, open your mouth already! Quickly, ahhh—”

His lips twitched again, but still nothing came out.

Song Xinya pressed, “Do you even want the dumpling or not? I’m feeding it right to your lips, and you won’t even go ahhh with me. Hurry up, open wide with me—ahhh—”

Qin Yuhe’s lips moved once more, struggling repeatedly, only to give up each time.

Song Xinya burst out laughing, nearly in tears.

Qin Yuhe asked, “Is making fun of me that fun?”

Song Xinya replied, laughing, “It’s actually quite fun, hahaha.”

Qin Yuhe stared at her with deep, dark eyes. His strikingly handsome face leaned close, and his lips brushed her ear as he whispered, “Did you put on lipstick today without looking in the mirror? You’ve got it smeared all over your teeth.”

Song Xinya’s laughter stopped short. She quickly pulled out her phone, opened the camera, and switched to selfie mode.

The screen reflected her perfectly white teeth.

“There’s no lipstick there.”

Qin Yuhe smirked, “Making fun of you is actually quite fun, hahaha.”

Three lines of irritation seemed to appear on Song Xinya’s forehead.

Such a child.

Qin Yuhe had specifically asked for shrimp dumplings, and Song Xinya had bought them for him. But he only ate a few—three out of four in one box.

The rest all went into Song Tingye’s stomach.

There was no worry about leftovers in that house. No matter how much food there was, Song Tingye could finish it all.

A whirlwind of chopsticks, the shovel of a mouth—he just shoveled it all into his belly.

At night, after washing up, Song Xinya sat at her dressing table applying skincare products.

Qin Yuhe emerged from the bathroom, still dripping wet. He crossed his arms and leaned against the wall, his dark eyes fixed on her.

“Did you enjoy dinner out tonight?”

Song Xinya finished her skincare routine, stood up, scooped out some body cream into her palm, rubbed her hands together, and began smoothing it over her legs.

She stood on one leg, propping the other on a stool.

Wearing a skirt in that pose, the fabric bunched up around her waist, exposing her smooth, fair legs.

And, between her legs, a little pair of pink panties.

Bent over, busy moisturizing, she casually replied, “Oh, dinner out tonight? Yeah, I enjoyed it.”

Qin Yuhe pressed his lips into a thin line.

“No matter how good the food at home is, it can never match what’s outside, can it?”

Song Xinya answered, “That’s right—home cooking can’t replicate that diner taste.”

Qin Yuhe’s lips tightened even more.

“You eat some dive outside, and suddenly you’ve got all these revelations.”

Song Xinya quipped, “Even the finest meat and fish at home get boring when you eat them every day. Going out for something wild just tastes incredibly delicious.”

Qin Yuhe’s teeth ground together with an audible click.

Song Xinya finished applying cream to both legs, leaving her skin glossy, smooth, and soft as tofu.

She headed for the bed, ready to sleep.

Suddenly, her entire body was lifted into the air. Qin Yuhe had picked her up.

He set her down on the dressing table.

The man’s scorching breath grazed her cheeks, and his hand slid boldly under her clothes.

Song Xinya jerked her neck back, startled, trying to push him away, but he pinned her firmly against the mirror.

She was instantly swept into his advances, a strange heat pooling in her lower abdomen, making her legs tremble.

“Qin Yuhe…”

Before she even realized, her legs were hitched up, and she heard him whisper in her ear—

“Let me make you feel good…”
