When they arrived at the First Dining Hall, the members of Li Hece's squad were already there.
"I was afraid the dining hall would close, so I had them order some dishes first. We still have time, so just add whatever you guys want to eat!"
Chao Hao was quite generous, mainly because these kids looked a bit too miserable compared to those from other military academies.
For seven whole days, they were either chased by beasts or by people, going up mountains, down rivers, and into mud pits...
What about the main team of the First Military Academy in the next livestream channel? Only the corners of their clothes were slightly dirty!
However, being too rigid wasn't good either!
He still appreciated the kids from his own academy more; they were united, helped each other, and their progress was genuinely visible.
The only issue was that they cared far too little about their image!
Bathing in blood while slaughtering pigs and not washing up... Qilin really did not have this kind of tradition! He was totally dumbfounded when the reporters asked him about it today!
He should tactfully remind them later.
Wang Tianwei was completely oblivious to her teacher's subtle mood.
"Alright! Let me see. Uncle! Give us another spicy stir-fried beef..."
They said they wanted to properly indulge and rest, but in reality, while still eating, the group couldn't wait to open the livestream replays of the other academies.
And what they saw was shocking...
The main team of the First Military Academy was ridiculously strong, wasn't it? Only Feng Yi could slightly hold his own against that heavy machine gunner; the others were practically instantly killed?
Fu Xingyuan truly deserved his title as the ace individual soldier of the First Military Academy! After defeating his own opponent, he could still support two teammates... The younger brother's team could also be called well-trained.
Although Valk only had their main squad left, they didn't seem to be on the same level as the other teams. That commander didn't even blink when he heard that three squads from his academy had been eliminated!
Furthermore, rather than saying Senior Ruan Yi and her team were eliminated by Santorini's main squad, it was more accurate to say they were eliminated by Elizabeth alone...
After watching all this, who would still be in the mood to celebrate? The joy of Huang Yan and Zhang Lyra finally advancing to S-Class was significantly diluted.
Wang Tianwei's mouth twitched slightly.
"Our luck... seems pretty good?"
It was just that they hadn't run into these teams, otherwise, their fate would have hung in the balance too!
"Don't be in a hurry to belittle yourselves. You should know that four military academies have already been eliminated in the first match.
By the time Li Hece and his team came out, over a dozen squads from three academies had already been completely wiped out."
Fu Manli put some food in the kids' bowls, and Li Hece also said,
"The weather, environment, and animals in the rainforest are all lethal factors!
We suffered a loss in this regard this time... Although the next one is a mecha match, the conditions might be even worse. You'd better prepare in advance."
"Now the other academies all know that you've leveled up, but they still don't know that Junior Tianwei can build cross-grade mechas! When the time comes, we definitely need to blind their dog eyes!"
"Right, mechas! Sir Huang, Little Bear, give me both of your spatial buttons!"
"...Let's rest tonight and talk about it tomorrow."
Huang Yan repeatedly watched the video replay of Santorini's main squad eliminating Senior Ruan Yi and the others several times. The opponent's way of using spiritual power seemed quite different from his own.
If he encountered Elizabeth, how would he be able to defend?
They now had three S-Classes on their side, so the originally drafted battle plan would also need to be readjusted...
"Time is limited. Let's eat a bit faster; we still need to review the matches when we get back."
Jian Jingyu had long been burying his head in eating meat. He knew it would turn out like this after watching the videos!
He originally thought the seven-day break in between was long, but now it seemed it might not even be enough!
The two teachers naturally knew that what they lacked most was time, so they immediately started organizing their notes from the first match.
Li Hece and the others poured all the experience they had summarized, as well as their original battle plans for the next mecha battle, onto Huang Yan. Even helping a little bit would be good!
That day's review meeting went straight on until two in the morning. It was only stopped by Chao Hao and Fu Manli, and the four reluctantly returned to their dorms to catch up on sleep.
The next day, everyone coincidentally woke up early again... Early in the morning, they first went to the hospital to lie in the healing pods for twenty minutes, followed immediately by going to the massage parlor to receive physical therapy. Wang Tianwei screamed like a slaughtered pig for an hour!
Now both their bodies and minds were comfortable! It was just that her throat hurt a little...
Out of forty-five teams, only eight remained. Just as Huang Yan had said, these popular spots from before the tournament started no longer required reservations.
During the break, the camp area was semi-open.
Contestants could temporarily leave the camp to purchase mechas, materials, or accept media interviews, but they needed to go through strict security checks all over again when returning.
However, it was impossible for anyone else to enter the camp.
Wang Tianwei and the others firmly remembered Teacher Eugene's instructions to promote Qilin! But time was truly limited right now!
So they briefly accepted interviews from a few media outlets online. The entire process was mainly spoken by the two teachers and Huang Yan, while the remaining three bared their teeth and acted as mascots.
During one media outlet's livestream, the screen was filled with comments saying, Let the martial generals speak!
As time was almost up, the reporter specifically looked at Wang Tianwei, asking her to say a sentence to end today's interview. The young girl was seen raising two thumbs up,
"Qilin Military Academy is just strong! If you want to enroll, enroll in Shuomo Planet's Qilin Military Academy! A century-old brand! Trustworthy!"
After speaking, she flashed her signature eight-tooth smile!
The half-orc and Jian Jingyu followed suit in seconds, and Huang Yan, with his head lowered, also raised two thumbs up...
Fu Manli and Chao Hao blushed, coincidentally turning their heads to look into the distance, as if something there was attracting them.
"Ahahahahaha!! Qilin Military Academy is just strong!! Sir Huang, don't lower your head!!"
"This wave of promotion is really hardcore..."
"Big points for Qilin!"
"...Who told her to say that?"
"Sister Zebra, please protect me! I also applied to Qilin this year!!"
"I heard you can level up if you enter Qilin! Is it true!?"
The livestream ended amidst the reporter's mixed feelings of crying and laughing, and the netizens' lingering comments.
The moment the screen went black, the four kids immediately switched modes.
Huang Yan pulled Chao Hao to stay in the conference room to continue analyzing the personnel and tactics of the other five military academies.
Fu Manli and Jian Jingyu needed to help Zhang Lyra quickly adapt to her S-Class physical and spiritual power; the training room was where they stayed the longest.
Wang Tianwei, on the other hand, dove headfirst into the mecha room, getting so busy she didn't even have time to eat.
They had two newly advanced S-Classes, and the next round was another mecha match!
According to what Sir Huang said, they still didn't know what difficulties awaited them ahead! Therefore, absolutely nothing could go wrong with the mechas!
Fortunately, what she had made before were all superior-grade mechas, and there were quite a few S-Class materials stored in her spatial button!
As for the design blueprints, she could just modify them as she worked!
She would swap the main body with S-Class skeletal materials, and then add the complete version of the mobile battery that the two of them wanted the most!
Running out of spiritual power!?
Drink some nutrient fluid and take a break! Then flip through the blueprints and the Mecha Artisan Forum!
Continue three minutes later!
