After the Assistant Became Beautiful, She Stole the Big Star’s Sugar Daddy

Chapter 167

Su Qianqian only shook her head, her tears falling even harder, landing on the back of his hand, scalding him with a pang of panic in his heart.

He flusteredly wiped her tears for her. "Talk to me, Qianqian. Tell me, what's wrong?"

Pressed by his urgent questioning, Su Qianqian finally lifted her watery almond eyes, choked up, her voice soft and full of grievance:

"Do you think... that kind of dance is very nice to watch..."

Gu Chengyu was taken aback, not understanding at first. "What dance?"

"The one you sent me."

The more she spoke, the sadder she became, her little mouth quivering, tears streaming down her face.

"That sister danced so well. Did you watch it and like it very much, feel very... excited, but didn't want to cheat, so you asked me to learn it..."

Only then did Gu Chengyu have a sudden realization, inwardly cursing himself.

He had only meant to add a bit of spice to their relationship, but he never expected it would make her so heartbroken and jealous.

Looking at the little girl sobbing in his arms, all his flirtatious thoughts instantly vanished, replaced only by full-hearted distress and regret.

"I don't like anyone else, only you!"

He quickly gathered her into his arms, letting her sit on his lap, holding her tightly against his chest, his chin nuzzling the top of her head as he coaxed her in a humble, gentle tone:

"I was wrong, Qianqian. I shouldn't have sent that to you."

He cupped her face, looking earnestly into her eyes:

"I just thought the choreography was very sexy, and my mind was picturing you, that's why I got excited and... impulsive."

"If another woman danced it for me, I wouldn't feel a thing. Qianqian, you have to believe me."

He used his thumb to gently wipe away her tears. "It was my fault for not explaining clearly, for making you sad. I was an idiot."

"Don't cry anymore, okay?"

Su Qianqian sniffled, looking at him through teary, blurred eyes.

These soft, humble words, coming from someone as arrogant as him, managed to soothe her after all.

She leaned softly into his embrace, her small hand clutching the shirt on his chest, muttering quietly, "Then you're not allowed to watch anyone else dance in the future."

"I won't. I won't watch anyone," Gu Chengyu promised immediately, letting out a relieved sigh, and lowered his head to kiss the top of her hair. "I'll only watch you from now on."

"You don't even have to dance it. I was just momentarily out of my mind."

Su Qianqian quieted down in his arms, only occasional uncontrollable hiccups remaining.

Gu Chengyu held her, gently patting her back, the feeling of regret still lingering in his heart.

"Let's not think about it anymore. Let's forget this whole thing. Let's go upstairs, and I'll warm up a glass of milk for you, okay?"

But the little girl in his arms suddenly stirred.

She lifted her head, her eyes still red like a little rabbit's, then suddenly reached out her slender, pale arms to softly wrap around his neck, saying in a small voice,

"You go take a shower first, later."

Gu Chengyu didn't catch on at first. "What?"

Su Qianqian buried her face in the crook of his neck, her voice carrying the soft, husky quality from crying, yet also revealing a shyness born of determination:

"Can't watch others... but you can watch me. The promised reward... I want to give it to you..."

She paused, her voice growing even smaller, almost inaudible. "I'll only dance for you."

Gu Chengyu's body stiffened, his voice becoming unbearably hoarse. "Really?"

The little head in his arms gave a slight nod, then continued, "A-Yu, don't hold me like this. There's not enough space, it's uncomfortable."

Gu Chengyu almost immediately released her, letting her sit back in the passenger seat.

Then he swiftly got out of the car, walked around to her side, opened the door, and carefully lifted her out, carrying her.

Holding her, he strode towards the elevator, his steps hurried yet steady.

Gu Chengyu admitted it—he was just vulgar.

He wanted to see the little girl's alluring, seductive side, meant only for him.
