After Kicking Out the Scumbag, All the Males in the Galaxy Chase After Me

Chapter 4

Yunyang continued scrolling through the StarNet.

The original owner’s life had been rather dull—aside from obsessively chasing after that one "crooked tree," she spent her days holed up in the villa, without a single close friend.

But for Yunyang, that was a good thing.

Since the original owner had no friends, no one would notice she was different, and her transmigration wouldn’t be exposed.

Though the interstellar world didn’t believe in ghosts or gods, if her secret got out, she’d probably end up being sliced up for research.

The most important thing was that she’d been a homebody in her past life too.

Back then, she’d stayed home scrolling through her phone; now, she stayed home scrolling through the StarNet. Honestly, she couldn’t have adapted better.

The StarNet probably had some kind of algorithm too—everything that popped up was exactly what Yunyang was interested in. Before she knew it, evening had arrived.

Robot Butler No. 3 had prepared dinner—or rather, what passed for a meal in this era. It was just a colorful nutrient paste, a fruit-flavored supplement.

The interstellar environment wasn’t suitable for growing crops. Although the Federation had developed soilless vegetable cultivation, the yields were pitifully low. A single head of ancient cabbage cost ten thousand Federation credits.

As for meat—since there were so many werebeasts in the galaxy, all naturally edible animals had long been eaten into extinction. The meat sold on the market was all machine-cultivated, mediocre in taste and troublesome to cook.

So except for the occasional indulgence, most Federation werebeasts opted for cheap, convenient nutrient pastes.

Just like the original owner, Yunyang knew nothing about cooking. She wasn’t picky when it came to food.

She took a spoonful of the colorful nutrient paste. It was sweet, with a strong strawberry flavor—apart from the texture, it wasn’t much different from eating actual strawberries.

Honestly? It was pretty good.

Yunyang scooped up another spoonful and was about to eat it when Butler No. 1 warned her: “Mistress, there’s a visitor.”

The robot butler’s system was linked to the villa’s security network, constantly monitoring everything around the house. Not even a mosquito could get past its detection.

Then again, mosquitoes were long extinct in this interstellar age.

Yunyang looked up. “001, can you detect who it is?”

A string of code flashed through Butler No. 1’s electronic eyes before it replied: “Gene identification successful. Visitor: Qin Mo. Born on X35 Star. S-class metal-element ability user. Threat level: High.”

“Mistress, should I activate the defense system?”

Qin Mo?

Yunyang swallowed her second spoonful of nutrient paste and pulled up a file on her holographic screen.

Name: Qin Mo

Age: 24

Height: 191 cm

Beast Form: White Tiger

Ability: Metal-element

Ability Level: S-class

Occupation: Deputy Commander of the Federation’s 23rd Army

Genetic Compatibility: 96%

Ah, he was one of the five werebeast husbands the Federation Marriage Center had matched her with.

He came this fast?

Talk about efficiency in the interstellar age.

Yunyang put down her spoon. “001, he’s the werebeast the Federation matched me with. Let him in.”

Butler No. 1 logged the key information, deactivated the defenses, and used the villa’s smart system to open the door.

Qin Mo was nervous.

It was his first time visiting an unfamiliar female’s home. He had no idea what to say after knocking. He stood at the door, full of anxiety, when suddenly it swung open.

His tiger body trembled. He immediately lowered his head, not daring to glance inside. “M-Mistress, I’m Qin Mo, the werebeast the Federation Marriage Center matched you with.”

From her seat on the couch, Yunyang blinked and took a good look at the male at the door.

Perhaps influenced by his beast form, Qin Mo had short silver-white hair. He was even taller than her robot butler—living up to that 191 cm height.

In terms of build alone, he looked flawless to the naked eye.

As for his face, she’d already seen photos. She knew that even in the interstellar era, where high-quality males were everywhere, Qin Mo’s looks were top-tier.

But why was he keeping his head down like that?

Yunyang asked, “Do I look that ugly?”

Qin Mo’s head shot up. “No, no, no! Mistress is the most beautiful female I’ve ever seen!”

That pleased Yunyang. She chuckled lightly and asked, “Then why were you keeping your head down earlier?”

His ears turned red. “I... It’s my first time visiting an unfamiliar female’s home. I was a little nervous.”

“Mistress, may I come in?”

“Come in,” Yunyang said, nodding, before continuing to eat her colorful nutrient paste.

Qin Mo carefully stepped into the villa. He let Butlers No. 1, 2, and 3 scan him from head to toe before approaching Yunyang.

He placed a space ring in front of her. “Mistress, this is the dowry my mother prepared for me. I hope you like it.”

As he spoke, Qin Mo cautiously sat down beside her.

The moment he sat, an unknown fragrance kept drifting into his nose, making every strand of hair and every inch of his skin tingle.

It smelled a bit like ancient orchid, mixed with a faintly bitter orange scent, and something else...

Qin Mo couldn’t place it. He just sat there, dazed, his amber eyes locked on Yunyang. “Mistress, you smell wonderful.”

Yunyang sniffed her own wrist and looked at him in confusion. “Do I?”

She couldn’t smell anything.

Qin Mo nodded firmly.

Yunyang remembered hearing something in her past life—if you could smell a unique scent on someone of the opposite sex that no one else could detect, it meant your genes had chosen each other.

Maybe the interstellar world had a similar concept?

Given their 96% genetic compatibility, Yunyang accepted the idea and didn’t dwell on it.

There was only a little nutrient paste left in her bowl. She decided to finish it before dealing with anything else.

It was then that Qin Mo noticed she was having nutrient paste for dinner. His eyes widened in disbelief. “Mistress, this is your dinner?”

In Qin Mo’s mind, females were delicate, meant to be pampered.

At least his mother never settled for nutrient paste. Her three daily meals were prepared by his father and uncles, using the freshest vegetables and specially sourced meat.

His Mistress—a precious S-class female of the Federation—was having only a small bowl of nutrient paste for dinner?

Qin Mo couldn’t accept that. He stood up immediately. “Mistress, I’ll make you dinner.”

Cooking was a required subject in interstellar male academies. Qin Mo’s grades weren’t top-notch, but he could handle simple dishes.

He took out fresh ingredients from his preservation space ring and, guided by the robot butler, headed to the kitchen.

With someone offering to cook, Yunyang abandoned the nutrient paste she’d just thought was tasty.

Although werebeast bodies could handle cold food without upsetting their stomachs, she was from Earth’s Blue Star—specifically, a member of the Culinary Nation. She preferred cooked meals.

She followed him into the kitchen and watched nearby as Qin Mo began to cook.

But as she got closer, Yunyang realized just how tall 191 cm truly was.

Even though she was a tall woman in this life—172 cm—standing next to Qin Mo made her look like a shortie.

Was this the gift of male werebeasts?

Ugh, so jealous!

Qin Mo had just placed the vegetables into the automatic washing machine when he noticed Yunyang had followed him in. He quickly said, "Mistress, the kitchen isn't clean. You should go sit and wait for me."
